Hi Marlene! I'm so glad you're here 🙏🏾. Isn't Japan incredible? I was going to Kyoto but decided to go to Kanazawa instead, which I was told was "little Kyoto." As much as I loved Kanazawa, I feel like I'd love Kyoto too! I have to check it out next time I'm there!

I'm enjoying exploring the city with you as my guide, brings back memories of my own solo trip just this past November 2024. There was so much to do and see and definitely a lot of things I couldn't do so I'm hoping to go back and explore other areas of Tokyo and go outside the golden route in Japan and explore other cities not well visited by tourist.

Wow, that sequence from 6:21 - 6:35, would've thought you had a secondary shooter. Impressive, to be doing it all by yourself 👏. Can only imagine how many walk back to the camera, retakes, reframing you'd have to do just to get the footage just how you liked it. At least Japan is one of the places where leaving an expensive camera on a tripod is relatively safe 😅. Out of curiosity, is your footage mainly handheld? And are you applying any stabilisation in post?
Thank you!! And yes, Japan is one of those places where I didn't fear my camera getting snatched while my back was turned to it😂. My footage is mainly handheld and I also use PGYTECH Mantispod which really helps steady my shots. I don't apply any stabilization in post.
