Have you tried cracked corn as a ground bait yet? I used it last weekend with great success. All I do is fill a bucket half way then cover with boiling water till the corn is under the water about 4 inches and put the lid on. The cracked corn expands. I let it sit in the water 24-72 hours. If you leave it in too long it rots.

Do you crack each kernel yourself, or is it sold pre-cracked?
