Orange warning lights are just a warning. No panic. Save that for if you get a red one. Then Stop immediately ! Try using youtube to show how to reset the oil light
Great video, really enjoyed it. For less than £30 you can get one of those diagnostic tools/ fault code reader tools. They let you test and reset stuff. Maybe put on your birthday or Christmas list. My previous VW we did 90,000 plus miles and never did anything unexpected. I love my Ducato but I think modern vans are almost too sophisticated. Met up with my brother in his 40 year old battered vw van. My Ducato gave me the engine management light. My van had done less than 3000 miles. I think there was nothing wrong with my van, I probably stopped and started it too much without driving it.
Only been to Porto once but it was great. Toured around on the open-topped tourist bus that stopped outside our hotel but used it to get to the beach area. Wow, the Atlantic is wild ! Not surprised you decided against a swim.
Love your vlogs. I've been traveling in a camper van for the last 6 months and one thing I learned is that things breakt down ALL the time but there is always a solution. Better get used to it...that's part of vanlife 🙂
There is already a warning light system orange light you need to check as soon as reasonably possible and red light stop now. Great vlogs guys. Edit someone already posted this info should read comments before not after posting dur. 😂
I have an iveco daily your warning light I have had from the day I bought it it goes off and comes back on what may happen your indicator lights may start flashing faster when you use them if I ignore it it goes off lol a trick you can try with the engine warning light is take off the neutral from your battery it may reset the light but do check oil for for colour and level ___ happy travelling
Hey Guys, Your channel popped up in my feed. I am really enjoying your content. I emigrated to Canada from the UK back in 2008 and have really enjoyed camping here, it is so much better than "Field Camping" lol. My wife and I have been thinking about selling our truck & travel trailer (Caravan) in the spring in favour of getting a van and doing a conversion ourselves. We are so lucky to have this beautiful country to explore as well as the whole of North America, Central America & South America hence why we are thinking of a van. Looing forward to more great content. You have a new Subscriber 😀 Stay safe on your travels.
Thanks Richard, we've started the process of moving to Canada ourselves! We would love to explore the backcountry, forests and lakes. I'm still yet to hear anyone say they moved to Canada and regretted it
hi, just come across your channel and seen this, gotta say you two are very real and showing the issues with van life along the way, just subscribed , please keep it going
Hi, if you need to fix MDF/chipboard again, use superglue to fill the hole/void and sprinkle baking soda on it. You may need to do it a few times to fill the void. When done drill it again as it will be rock hard and you are good to go. Myth busters were great advocates of this hack.
You're not far away from Nazare I stopped there for 3 weeks hoping to see the 30 metre + waves but nature didn't oblige and because of schengen I've had to nip across to Morocco to stop the clock (so I don't have to return to the UK while its still winter) Liking the videos.
Do you have any regrets with not spending any more money initially with lower miles? I’ve been to see a few Boxers now… have an appointment with that dodgy Bolton place today 😅😅
It depends how long you plan on keeping the van I guess. We decided against the dodge Bolton shop, check out our first video where we had this debate. Most people in the comments seem to think vans can keep going and have well over 100k on the clock which is a relief
Great vlog. In general ... orange lights are advisory (i.e. don't panic) & red ones are "You really need to sort this asap" (i.e. don't ignore it). Regareding the "Change Oil" warning check out this video th-cam.com/video/0xC1mOZ9OzM/w-d-xo.html Keep up the great work. Safe travels.

Thanks so much Glyn!
Put the poppers on before driving! 👍🇬🇧
Need this tattooed on our foreheads 😅🤣
Loved the bit when you dropped in George from the off grid garage 👏
Change oil light. Was not reset at your last service, TH-cam for details of how to reset. It’s surprisingly easy. Did it on my boxer
Great thanks. The engine oil level has gone from 4/5 to 3/5 should we rush to get it filled back to full?
recently found you and now watched all your videos....more please!!!
0:55 It's called "Schengen treaty area". One of the things the Brits never believed would work for them... Enjoy your stay in continental Europe.
We shall!
Great video, really enjoyed it.

Yes we might get one of those, it would save the heart attacks haha 🤪

Great vlogs guys.

You could do with an OBD2 diagnostic machine. Plug it in to read your fault codes and fault history. Like a little mechanic in your hand.
Not a bad idea thank Michael
Lidl have them every so often.
You can find out the warning without stopping and turning off by pressing the button on the end of the wiper stalk and scrolling through 👍
Ooh interesting thanks!
It's a great pleasure to watch your videos guys! Thank you and have a safe journey!
Thanks for watching! 🥰

Hi
Oh Jodie, why tease us about going in the water? Maybe next time..... lol
Lol maybe in summer ☀️😂
We have the change oil come on with our ambulances if the oil can flashes, service reminder, stays on oil problem
Ah this is useful to know! Thanks 👍🏼
Hi I purchased boxer back in dec 2021. It is 2018 unfortunately I have nothing but probs with it. Water pump seized dpf issues
Oh no!! 😬😲

Particle board sucks in general, but in a moveable vehicle, it is BAD. Plywood is your ticket.
👍🏼👍🏼😍
That guy from off grid garage lol 😅
I wasn't sure if anyone would recognise Andy!
Did you manage to reset your change oil message?
We did, it should be in the next video!
First!! Xxx
Like it-well video-work- would you like more views?.see you laetr~ 👽
Thanks so much!!
When is the next vid coming out
We're a little behind, but hopefully this weekend! 🤞
Ok ok, I can’t see anybody else asking, so what was pixelated at 10.12, asking for a friend 😇
Just a box had our address on it, nothing too interesting 🤣
