      @@ordinarydrive3652 I had MK4 R32... I prefer my MK7 GTI, faster since Stage I and nicer interior... the only reason I don't own a MK7 R is no sunroof, and no 2door option in America. I can't bring myself to get rid of this GTI... so I'm going to go big turbo, and brake kit, and a few other things. It's a 2015 and only has 56K miles, so plenty of life left in her. It's been APR stage I since 5K miles on her.

      @@du3lcitiz3n You don't want a sunroof on a mk7 if you live in a hot state, On GTIs even with the "blind" (CHEESE-CLOTH) closed all it does is work against your A/C, VW has iffy air conditioners for where i live anyway, but with the sunroof option it's a genuinely annoying car to live with in the summer.

    I’m not sure if it’s necessary but do you need a tune for a cold air intake just to have it on? I know it’s more beneficial for trying get more HP

    • @ordinarydrive3652
      @ordinarydrive3652  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No tune is needed!
      The only time a tune is more required is when you get a downpipe (stage 2). Otherwise simple bolt ons like catback exhaust and intake don’t need a tune.
      However a stage 1 or 2 tune will make a drastic change for more HP!

      Hmm, are you pushing the inlet far enough back that it feels like it connects to the turbo? It should fit in snug and when you twist to fit, should be twisting towards the back end of the car.
      Double check to make sure you ordered the right part that fits your car as well.
