God why don’t you help me when I am suffering?

- I the middle of my suffering when I needed God to save me from my situations he just stood by and watched me suffer. My question was how could he call himself a good Father and stand by as I suffered.
Praise Yeshua in our brokenness. I was broken as a drug addict. He saved me from myself. May we always glorify Yeshua

For me it's alcohol. I quit cold turkey for 2 weeks so I don't believe I was addicted physically but now I'm back to it try again. I guess it's a mental thing. I get anxious and I pop a beer and it never ends good.

This message spoke to me deeply. This year has been hard. I lost my husband at 8am on the 8th of 8th month. 8 in the Bible signifies New Beginnings. James my husband looked forward to being with Jesus. I feel sad, alone, broken and having to cope alone with responsibilities for my children. This has also brought me closer to Jesus. Jesus is my strength . I get through another day because my Father carries me through each day. I also lost my church soon after James went to heaven. A church that had Calvinist teachings which was only revealed to me recently and that my husband warmed me about but I could not see this. My husband suffered from depression and our marriage was not easy and I wish I could relive some moments but he is gone. I have many challenges ahead of me but in my brokenness I pray that I will grow stronger in my faith in Jesus. Thank you for this message.

A long time ago in 2017, I found your testimony online. I had just had my first encountered with Jesus. I cried watching your testimony when you said that he was made of light because I had just seen him myself.
Thank you for being so bold, genuine, direct, explicit and so deeply loving. I know it is God doing the work in you.
That’s beautiful Afshin. He uses vessels that are willing to be broken and crushed to a fine powder. It is not remotely easy but He is so worth it! I remember at age 14 after my parents both had affairs and got remarried to others, I was living with my mom and abusive step father, I said to God “take me and break me and make me what you want me to be”. I was quoting something a minister said but God knew my heart was towards Him even then. I really had no idea what I was giving Him permission to do. Fast forward to a few years ago at age 51 when I finally gave Jesus full access to my heart. ❤️ I stopped keeping Him at arms length in fear of what He might do or allow. He has allowed me to be broken over and over. And over. I’m just now beginning to really trust Him. All the pain in this life is worth it. Jesus is worth everything! Whatever He wants. No matter how much it hurts. He is faithful.
I like how you explained the being broken and the Lord saying “is that all?” And you kept saying “ No, You took me and smashed me again.” Isn’t that the truth! The dying to ourselves and our own desires is so difficult but if we are willing to be used any way He wants, He can and will do things through us we could never imagine here AND in the ages to come. Something about our Father that’s hard to understand is how He uses death and it seems the more dead we are to ourselves, the better. We see it in Jesus, in Peter, in Paul… but I know our future is as bright as God can make it and friends that is beyond BRIGHT ☀️ Thank you for being a willing broken one, Afshin.

I asked God recently why He keeps putting the same kind of people in my life who wants nothing but to create havoc,take my peace and showed me how dark their souls are.I prayed for God one time to pour out fireballs from heaven when I was crying in my car coz of the way these evil individuals being used by the devil to attacked me instead God wants me to extend mercy and forgiveness to them when all I want is for God to put them in h3ll🥺 I finally figured out why he keeps putting those people because He doesn’t want anyone to perished 🥺 God is a loving God!

I have been stricken and afflicted with chronic back pain; it has nearly crippled me. I am isolated in my room most of the time, I have no friends to talk to and I am very alone; My only friend is the Lord. I am still trying to accept/understand why this is happening to me.

@A22L22C I really appreciate it. I believe God wants us to see the power of our words. I don’t believe we should ask algorithms to find us what we like. But most importantly I believe we need to build a relationship between the body of Christ that we can hear each other’s voices.
I love you brother in Christ. Your heart is beautiful. you went from a person that was OK with murdering someone to a person crying out for them. They will see and know Jesus the Lord is and has made you into some thing so beautiful that it is a gift to everyone who hears your hearts cry. I prayed a similar prayer that God would break me not realizing what I was praying. I went through a season of such brokenness that I would’ve rather had the Lord take me and to suffer such anguish, and felt as though I was being tormented. To me it is all worth it now because I see how important it is for Christians to love like Christ love and a lot of people don’t know how to love that way. Bless you

Oh how I wish I could be with you all to share a meal. God has kept me in the wilderness with my immediate family only for almost 4 years. I feel like Joseph and Noah combined! A prophetic friend saw that I was a seed buried deep in the ground and it will break and grow again. Hanging on to the cross - sometimes by a thread has gotten me through. He doesn’t speak plainly to me like He does with you but I have told Him that I still will believe and I have His Word in the Bible.
