Hm, it would be interesting to see that with 'pressure damage' taking place.
Like build a small base with 4-7 rooms - bedroom, mess-hall, latrine, farm and make sure to use weak tiles and just release that huge pressure inside the base and see where the water will pop the walls.

I am amazed your cpu didnt burn or the game crashed. It looks amazing tho. I wonder how something like lava would behave

i probably have to thank the performance update that i didnt crash 😅
magma does have 1840kg as a max per tile amount, so i imagine not as fast moving

Dude, with 1 billion tons of lava in one tile the temp shift when it touches something must be immidiate, meaning it literally thanos snaps everything that can melt at that temp.

I did something like this but with oxygen of 30000 kg I tried to fill up a box with it to test the bunker's pressure resistance, but I hit my toe on the wall behind my table and replaced the vacuum with oxygen of 30000 kg, I got intrigued when I saw it never disappeared and made a litteral atmosphere that will last maybe 400 cycles

thats because the space exposure tile only consumes gas at a rate of 100g / second / tile- its pretty slow when it comes to eating up the gases

I didn't exactly do this with a lot of Oxygen but I have a mod that auto bottles things when I deconstruct, unfortunately it comes with this odd glitch I think where whenever I use the suits it stores some of the oxygen, at cycle 550 I had a bottle with 9t oxygen and I released for the fun of it... I had to open the entrance lmao it pushed up every other gas by force

"If I had to guess, I'd say that it is likely between 3 and 5 billion" I'd say that's not even close, probably closer to 15 bil based on some of those tiles.

Good to warn us about infinite compression glitch, best to use spaceships with maximum liquid capacity and carry up to a few gigagrams (1 gigagram = 1 billion grams or 1 million kilograms) per spaceflight (not possible in real life as the latest spaceX starship can only carry a few truck trailers of payload across space and this is 20,000kg/trailer [the default storage capacity of the solid tank is equivalent to 1 real life truck trailer]) so you are carrying 50 truck trailers per gigagram and you need 1000 such trips to move that teragram (1 trillion grams or 1 billion kilograms) of water into manageable chunks of liquid and avoid the glitch that would make way too much water. I usually make the infinite water storage near the print pod and enclose it with airflow tiles and a sinle gas tile to place the output pipe in there and of course close it with conductive wire, automation wire, pipes, and sweep all other materials out of the area before finishing the enclosure and start filling the first 4 tiles of water to ensure 1 gas tile and not another configuration that might happen with multiple gases in the area.
