      I def think the vacation club/timeshare properties make for better family gatherings compared to a standard hotel. The Vistana Resort is huge and has lots of activities. I think it’s a worthwhile option. Best of luck planning your trip!

    Your review was really good. Been to this resort x9 times over 25 years, travelling from England. What you said was bang on correct. The location of the resort is really good as well, being 15 minutes to the Disney parks and similar to the Seaworld/Universal parks (traffic permitting!). Back there in June, counting down the days.

      I really appreciate this comment! I try to make the videos informative and helpful. And agreed the location if great to Disney Springs and the parks. Also the Vistana has lots of activities on property which makes it a great option with the family. I actually like the other Sheraton Vistana too. I think it’s a little newer and prettier but not as many activities. However a good option if you’re ever looking to change it up.

    • @fitnessnbeer9835
      @fitnessnbeer9835  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jonesl83173 I think both are good family options, especially if it’s a multi-family trip. Having a kitchen, living room, and balcony make it much nicer for in-room gathering and socializing.
      Picking between The Grove and the Vistana Resort Villas is tough. It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been to The Grove but when we visited it was nice and the water park is unmatched for an on-property water park. If the kids are a little older (9-16yrs) I think the Grove waterpark would provide more entertainment but if the kids are younger (4-9yrs) I think the Vistana because of the playgrounds; and the water slide and splash pad there will be enough for younger kids.
      Honestly I’ve read some questionable reviews about the Grove since we last visited which leads me to wonder if it’s declined? However I take that with a grain of salt since we’ve had good experiences there and plan on visiting again. Also I think if you want to focus on pool and water activities, then Grove but if you want a bigger variety of activities, then Vistana (but it’s not like the Vistana is immune to negative reviews.) Truly I think either property will be more than satisfactory for most.
      If I absolutely had to pick 1, I think I’d go Vistana but that’s because I believe in the Marriott brand and their properties seem to maintain as certain standard. Let me know what you pick? And have an awesome trip!!

      Thanks so much for your comment and for checking out the video. We really like the Cypress Harbour, just stayed there again recently. That’s tough and depends how you’re traveling. If you’re traveling with kids the 2nd bedroom at the Vistana Resort is bigger and more comfortable. There’s also a good amount of activities and pools at the Vistana Resort (but with the new Sports Complex at the Cypress there isn’t more) I like the Cypress Harbor better but it’s worth checking out the Vistana Resort for a change of pace.

    Excellent video! Thank you. Can you comment a little further on some topics please. 1. Is there an extra charge for tennis, mini-golf-basketball, shuffleboard etc? Or are they totally free but you just have to sign them out? 2. Are the pools heated? And what hours are they open til into the evening? Our families enjoy night swims before bed. 3. It is unfortunate about the lack of elevators.

      Hey Jeremy! We were concerned about Wi-Fi too, especially since some of the reviews we read prior to our trip complained about it. But we had no problems with Wi-Fi at all. No problems in the villa or in the public areas for our entire visit.
      Yes we stayed in a fountains building right next to the Cascades pool. We enjoyed it, we like properties with lots of activities and this place fit the bill. I think I might like Vistana Villages better by a hair but I would recommend both. They both have advantages. Would you recommend this place for someone without a car? Is it hard to get around within the resort without a car? Our plan to just use Uber to the Disney parks.

    • @fitnessnbeer9835
      @fitnessnbeer9835  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The resort is definitely walkable but you can end up walking several blocks to get to where you’re going. But the in-resort shuttle is responsive and is an option.
      I think the Vistana would make a good option without a car because it’s big and the resort has lots to do on-property. Also, having the villa with a kitchen and the on-property restaurants gives you lots of family dining options. And they do have shuttles to the parks which can reduce the amount of Ubers needed. Hope this helps!
