It’s a pity that I couldn’t capture the cactus and water lily gardens in the daytime, as I did not have enough time after walking through terminals 2, 3 and 4. I will try again next time. Thank you Yosh and Iku for your kind support as always!
The "carpeting" IS noteworthy! Terminal 1: mostly tiny circles, Terminal 2: blurry topographical maps (SO colorful!), Terminal 3: lines, rectangles, squares, Terminal 4: triangular petals. I LOVE this airport with all my heart and soul, but Singapore is such an expensive visit!
The Jewel area is at the landside, ie you have to exit immigration checkpoint. So make sure you have enough time and visa to do so. Otherwise, the only option is to take the transit side skytrain that goes through (but not stopping) Jewel, to see the waterfall.

I’m transiting through from Melbourne to London leaving from terminal 3 Changi, can I visit Jewel area ?
You can get directly to Jewel from 2 or 3, but, remember! Jewel is outside the security perimeter. Allow enough time to go back and forth.
The Jewel area is at the landside, ie you have to exit immigration checkpoint. So make sure you have enough time and visa to do so.
Otherwise, the only option is to take the transit side skytrain that goes through (but not stopping) Jewel, to see the waterfall.
