i used a small air grinder to get my rivets out of the window. Didn't like the idea on hitting it with a punch. Worked like a charm. Got the air 90 grinder at harbor freights for 20 bucks plus the small wheels.

I don't have a door removal tool, can I just use a flatbar?

I personally recommend not using a panel Removal tool. You carefully remove the door panel by hand reducing the chances of breaking the door panel, clips & pins. I was able peel back the door's weather-seal at both ends to gain access without totally removing it, which made it easy to reseal it before reinstalling the door panel.

That fought you all the way, even the door card could not bare to be parted from the door lol.
Ooow tapping rivits out of a glass window, it would have shattered for me, not a nice design, they could have used a bolt with a smooth shoulder.
The ford designers wanted a good slapping for that lol.
