@@AndrewSink they could have easily made the process better, but they didn’t Perhaps they like creating a hysteria on a limited release by making it seem more exclusive
My order was cancelled. I called Reebok. Initially they were on back order trying to fulfill all the orders, but they couldn’t do it so a lot of successfully placed orders were cancelled. What’s even more infuriating is that I got mine manually, without bots. I don’t know how to use them. I was up for nearly 2 hours manually refreshing and adding to cart, and eventually I got the confirmation email when I placed the order. Yet they still cancelled. This is why I left the shoe game. Tired of L’s. Even my W’s turn into L’s. Screw Reebok and the sneaker game
The original Alien Stompers were the Reebok BB7600 sneakers from 1986. Back then, the BBQ stood for basketball and the number was the price so these originally sold for $76. There was a more popular BB4600 that released in 1986 and these Romulus sneakers are based on the late 80s low top BB4000 II model.
Clearly, scalpers have some sort of software that outs them to the front of the queue. How do these huge companies nit have software to beat the bots, or filter delivery addresses. I cant imagine some of these resellers with 20+ listings have 20+ addresses
A lot of effort went into the design of the shoe in the making of the movie, the director made the call to have these be sold like they are seen in the film, without the worn look it takes away from the character of the shoe. Unfortunately it seems like Reebok got a little lazy with some of the shoes because not all look the right amount of “dirty”. Thanks for uploading an unboxing!

Great video actually. I live in Japan we just got the movie this week and I was curious they had a few good shots of the shoe in the movie and low and behold they had a horrible online selling of these things. I am with you tho. The shoes look cool but the 'distressed' look of any apparel is so hot topic corny to me. I would never pay for something worn out unless i was purposely buying used.
The shit ive had to deal with over this shoe. I whiffed on the release. Then bought a pair on GOAT for $350 but noticed they were only going for $250 while i was asleep but was just happy to get them. After 2 weeks GOAT cancelled my order this morning as the buyer flaked.
