Been playing it, I've become a pessimist with games recently. I have to say. It's good, Better than I expected. Amazingly the story and characters are a strength of the game, and all they had to do is stay relatively close to the lore. Which is so goddamn rare these days.

Nice video. I got the game yesterday, but refunded it as it didnt run smooth on my pc. So i will wait for patches and whenevrr i upgrade my cpu. I got a rtx 3070 and 32gb ram. My cpu is the oldest thing i got
Having actually played MW5: Clans, that’s not what it is at all. Not to mention that, if not for PGI, the MechWarrior IP would still be dead. MW5: Mercs did have a rough launch, but it got *a lot* better after updates and DLCs, and it was the first real MW game since MW4: Mercs, and MW5: Clans is arguably the best game in the series in terms of storytelling though MW3 comes very close.
You spend all of 5 minutes here and then Nasir dies after 2 minutes of cutscenes where he raises every possible death flag. Why can't mech games have good writing?

They were definitely inspired by R. Lee Emry for the Kit Commander. Too bad he's not around anymore or they could have had him do the voice acting.
