I agree. One commenter said to add white, and I agree also. Lately while studying and fishing small swimbaits, i have heard it was to your advantage to have two color or laminated swim baits. Like green back and white bellies. As the swim bait swims and rolls through the water, there is a constant color shift.
I really think you are onto something here. I'm guilty of a tackle tote full of color and Grn Pumpkin and junebug/blueblack seem to be the answer. SW Ohio. Thanks for sharing.
I would add white in there if you are using soft swim baits or soft jerkbaits, simply because bass in so many of my home fisheries key in on shad at certain times of the year.
Oh ya for swimbaits that is a different story. For that I would go Keitech pro blue red pearl and electric blue and chartreuse that covers your clear water and your stained water.
I always grab a new color to try. Usually green pumpkin works the best. If its dirty black with blue flake, junebug, or my fav grape is the best. I have caught some on plum apple also.
@@joshandhuntersadventures5046 Im sure they do. Not all the colors I get work. Bubblegum trick worm is another good one that works great wacky rigged and fished like a floating worm technique. If its working its a fun day for sure! Then some days they wont touch it. I'd say a natural color and a dark color is all you really need.
I went with these two colors about 8 years ago. I use Senkos about 80% of the time, weightless or with a bullet weight. Green pumpkin with black flake and black with blue flake.
I definitely agree those are hard to beat my only other colors would be brown and pumpkin seed for a craw dad look and a white flute is pretty good but I’m the same over the years I guess I’ve probably bought every color under the sun great video
Now a swimbait my color option is a littler different for instance a Keitech I like a natural color like pro blue red pearl. It is a great natural baitfish color. If I have stained water or dirty water I will use either a sexy Shad and then take a chartreuse spike it marker and color the belly with it. Or if I have the electric blue chartreuse those two colors are great for clear and a dirty water. Caught a bunch of fish on those colors over the years. I hope this helps and thanks for watching and commenting. We got a bunch of videos on swimbaits and tips on those. Check them out. Thanks for watching!
Id go with something with chartreuse or straight chartreuse for dirty water. Ive had luck on swimbaits and spinnerbaits with paddle tail trailers in dirty water.
After seeing the demonstration Steve Rogers did, I'll take White or Chartreuse over anything, even in stained or murky water. These 2 colors are basically the most visible in almost all scenarios.
Ya here on the east coast it’s not that big of a color for us. Possibly could be a good color for you out there 👍. Thanks for sharing and thank you for watching.
Yes in dirty water I like black and blue. Like I mentioned you could get you one of the packs of spike it markers and color the tail, claws etc.. with what ever color you would like. Great way to customize a bait.
I agree with black and blue, but we slay with purple with chartruse tip or straight purple.

Yes with swimbaits I would have a different color setup. Like a Keitech in pro blue red pearl and electric blue chartreuse.

def agree. an all white or even any color up top with white bottom to even resemble a shad and youll get hits you otherwise wouldnt of for sure.
@@drunkpunk5393 for a swimbait your colors are going to be totally different than this. This is only for Texas rigs.
@@joshandhuntersadventures5046 oh yea i see what you mean. correct.

Why is it always black and blue instead of just black. Why does black need blue?
