Yeah mate... Do try MISAL pav... It's a lentil gravy... The consistency is usually thin or medium... But it's spicy..... 😍 Usally served with 2 pavs and the lentil gravy is garnished with some farsan and chopped onion! Do Google it to get a clear idea abt it...

Been two years since i moved out of Mumbai and goddamnit I miss Vada Pav and Frankie so much rn.
Unfortunately Frankies have lost the market to the shawarma craze. And it's an art. you won't necessarily get a good one
I moved out of Mumbai when I was 9 years old(2009). I still remember the Vada Pava and Franky in Mira Road

Manohar kaka (kaka=uncle) speaking in Marathi about vada pav on a global, English channel gave me literal goosebumps, it's rare to see my language being represented on such a large platform 🥰 I honestly feel so proud and seen. When the lock down ends, I'm surely visiting Manohar kaka's shop and tell him how happy I felt seeing him represent marathi people in front of the whole world ☺

It was certainly a good gesture. These videos or any other documentaries now don't need English, they can easily provide subtitles so the people can speak their native language and be more comfortable!

@@kakuella there are some restaurants that follows hygiene similar to Jumbo King. Also if you want to try best combination of Vada pav, Go to 'Jugaadi Adda'. They offer original Vada pav. Plus combination with Mayo, Tandoori sauce, Barbeque sauce, mint sauce etc. Wayyyyyyy better than Jumboking.
So true Jumbo king's vada pav sucks a big time. They have committed a horrendous sin. Everytime i eat their thing i get a pimple and bloating throughout.
They might serve hygienic but the materials they use is off standard especially the oil.

This is what you call travelling the world with different flavors at home.
I've had a variety of potato croquettes in several different countries. Love them all. Never had them in a burger/sandwich. Definitely need to remedy this.
Plz do😂😂😂.. also the pav we eat came from the Portuguese invaders . Pao is bread in Portuguese, so we just adapted it n didn't change the name. This pav u saw is available only in Mumbai. Every other city n state try to replicate , but can't get it right.. it's the right amount sweetness , softness and fulffiness.. i can't even explain how much of a difference the pav makes!! I love all kinds of bread , but pav is hands down my fav. You can hv pav with anything...scrambled eggs , kheema ( ground meat like chilli) .. ugh I'm hungry now..

Went to Mumbai in 2018 and I didn’t even know what it was, but I think I ate it nearly every day. It was good even when served cold
I love JumboKing but the thing that I love the most is the Sause they give while eating.Its not tomato and really dont know but it tasted so amazing 1st time i tried that i can eat it with almost any burger in the world

The best thing, it's cheap. You can get six or seven vada pave for a dollar. An average person usually needs only two vada pavs to fill their stomach.

Great video! Although the McAloo Tikki is inspired by, well, the Aloo Tikki which in itself is a street dish pretty popular in the north of India. And the burger is actually extremely popular!

I have eaten Vada Pav only once in my life that too in Bangalore in a small gully near SP Road, just because a friend of mine who is from North Karnataka told me to try it, and I loved it very much. So much that I wanted to go there again to try another.
