The journey and the hardship between Joseph and Shanon in the movie was too painful to watch but I am glad they had a happy ending.

I'll be 40 in a few months. I've never seen this film, but I remember the trailer from other films and this song. 1995... I'd have been about 13/14. Definitely on my list now.

In questo film Tom e Nicole si conobbero e si innamorarono al primo sguardo.....erano giovani e bellissimi....non ne fanno più di film così belli....la musica di Enya poi non ne parliamo.....troppo bella e indimenticabile.....erano i primi anni 90 ed avevamo 20 anni.....ogni volta che rivedo questo film e riascolto la musica mi rivedo una ragazza.....non mi stancherò mai di vederlo ..... è un film meraviglioso!!! ❤️

I bought 3 CD's of "Shepherds moon" the first had the pure Gaelic version of this song, the second had English, and the third one had half and half - or rather an extended version with both versions back to back. - I prefer the Gaelic version.

Tra l altro è un po' la storia della mia famiglia .....partirono dall Italia del sud affrontando l Atlantico con una navigazione di giorni e giorni alla fine dell' 800 sbarcando a New York all isola delle lacrime per affrontare dopo l impossibile ma alla fine conquistarono anche loro nello stesso modo il loro pezzo di terra e guarda caso rullo di tamburi....altri non erano che le terre dove ora ce Los Angeles Beverly Hills Hollywood Santa Monica San Francisco e Sam Diego ......tanto e' vero che uno dei miei avi fu anche e più di una volta il sindaco di Los Angeles e San Francisco.....e di questo ne vado e ne andrò sempre molto fiera ed orgogliosa....

Mission Impossible-movies are good and all that but I sincerely think Cruise was better and more versatile before them. This, Top Gun, Rain Man, A Few Good Men, Born On The Fourth Of July...Although I do also like The Last Samurai a lot which was released way after the first few Mission Impossible movies.
Nicole Kidman has always been awesome and will always be.
'92 was a masterpiece year for Cruise in my opinion. Far And Away alongside with A Few Good Men...Both forevergreen classics in their own right.

Tom i just played this and then my uncle who looks like my uncle griffith jones ted turner who used to own warner brothers showed me something earlier on this little app that I made better some called instagram, film at sussex delaware some tom, make it happy films ask peoples permusson if they want to work just a few hours a few times acting, kraft foods maybe even Ask me and lets make some family films again. Also nicole looked beautiful there, great movie, maybe even see if uncle tim robbins and or uncle bill murray want a job
And their Grandchildren became dirty Okies during the Dust Bowl.

Far and away
Yep, Far and Away, pretty good movie, life was a lot harder in the 1800s, both ended up going to Oklahoma in their own ways, Shannon and her parents as passengers, and Josef by working his way around,
McKelly was such bastard, kicking the both of them out in the middle of a snow storm close to Christmas, Shannon survived getting shot since her parents were still wealthy and could afford having a doctor...
But how Josef made it and survived the cold and the snow storm, this I got no idea, a good worker maybe but surviving a snow storm and a serious cold with just nothing but the clothes he was wearing, no money either...
And I don't think MacKelly gave him his money back after what happened at the bar...
( Sorry for the spoilers, thought it'd be ok because the movie was originally released during 1990s...)
