    Nostalgia or what!!! Really enjoyed and appreciated this video. It was like walking through time. I was born in Mary Street, Grande in 1961, left for the London in 64. I did go back for a year in 84, and Limed in Grande everyday.
    The video brought back so many good memories and showed a comparison of yesterday years to today. I shared this with my 82 year old who was born in Foster Road. We followed you through your walk and helped my Mum so much with her stimulating her memory bank. She loved the vid Big Time.

    Dear JB,
    My sister and I just completed our Sunday evening drive with you as you toured Grande! We enjoyed that it was a long walkabout which allowed us to feel like we were rignt there walking witb you. I have never visited Grande but there was something I think the last walkabout you did was around the savannah so it was nice to see an updated video. The colonial houses reminds me of what Trinidad looked like when we were growing up as children. The information that you shared about the name and its meaning was very interesting, I think I heard something like that before. As usual my sister and I were gabbing as ladies do, while the men do the work😅. Thanks JB!!

    Another good coverage JB. And yes I agree with you, Grande looks like the place that time forgot. However the people are warm and easy to talk to, and I like that. The last time I visited Grande would have been some years well B.C. (Before Covid) A.C (After Covid) the furthest I have been is P.O.S. so it was nice seeing Grande again.😊 I would love to see a revamp of Grande but keeping the old-world colonial structure. Hi JB this walk through was quite informative. The walk through definitely is more realistic so thank you for your time spent in bringing this video. I remember some of the main areas. The roundabout area. Not a place I frequented even when I lived in Trini because I didn't like the stretch to get there. Too scary. Originally from Arima. But Grande ppl loves Grande 😂. I do appreciate how original it still is though, although some may think it's backwards but it reminds me of how Trinidad was back in the day so it's nice to see the original format maintained. I know we all like modern buildings but the old ones are our history.

    • @JBsManCave
      @JBsManCave  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The direction isn't south, the direction you're walking from Corperative St. along t eastern main road is east to northeast.

    A positive thing about Trinidad is that many have UpToDate vehicles for a tiny island. Comparable to anywhere in the world except Dubai or Sudi Arabia where you'd see more supercars. I want to hear more positivity in your videos.

    • @JBsManCave
      @JBsManCave  ปีที่แล้ว

      Barry, you will hear both, keep in mind that in the end this is not about positivity or negativity but keeping it REAL because if one only wants to hear one side it means they are either in denial or delusional to reality. Besides, this video is about Sangre Grande... not car quality in Trinidad.

      it will always be about OPINION OF REALITY. if you are pessimistic everything would be viewed with pessimism. @@JBsManCave

      Of course, you have your opinion, it is just that. What am I pessimistic about?

      I like your videos regardless. I won't further that topic here or then I'll be pessimistic too. lol do a visit of Arima and CalvaryHill maybe even Blanchisseuse if you haven't already @@JBsManCave

      @@barrytelesford5265 maybe you really like what I have to say but find it hard to believe that my perspective may actually be breaking down years of seeing things one way. 😉 I have thousands of videos.
