Your reactions are so amazing and I greatly appreciate you taking the journey! When you realized it was Nate at the end of the video, I got goosebumps. The way that you are able to capture what is going on musically, metaphorically, etc. is so great. Thank you! Have a blessed day! 🙏
The music videos really give me so much more appreciation for NF. I definitely relate to hearing it on the radio and enjoying it musically but now I feel like I've been lied to almost by only hearing it 😅 so much more to think about now when I listen to it.
Pastor Skar, this song is his most popular commercially successful song. It was all over the radio all of the time in 2017. Here is what it did: The song is NF's highest-charting song to date, peaking at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the Pop Songs chart. As well as reaching mainstream charts internationally, "Let You Down" charted on Billboard's's Hot Christian Songs and Hot Rhythmic Songs, reaching the No. 1 spot on the former chart. It is his first song to be Certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. It was later certified 8× platinum in the US, and also reached multi-platinum in several other countries, including Canada and Australia. I am loving your NF reactions. I like that you are doing all of the songs. Please react to all of songs on The Search, Clouds Mixtape, and Hope albums. You won't regret it! I have heard every single one of Nate's songs that he has ever put out. That is over 100 songs and of those there are only about 4 that I don't care for. That is pretty amazing! He is a very special artist. Also, that female voice at the end is his wife Bridgette.
Ooh I had no idea that was his wife's voice! And YES! I'm absolutely hoping to do every song and I've been loving the journey, thank you for watching and enjoying the series, been loving reading your comments too! God bless you!
Mind boggling song; especially when you see the last two seconds carefully!😮😮 This older actor is in at least three different videos of Nate. My father was a broken man in so many ways... Hurt people hurt people 💔
This is such a powerful song. With Therapy Session being a great album and then following it up with Perception. Nate started to get the feeling of becoming "famous" from the song Therapy Session. This song is about himself and how he doesn't want to let himself down in a future state of mind as well as his fanbase. glad you caught the tattoo at the end. little bit of trivia, Nate has that tattoo in that spot on his arm. it was shown in Therapy Session in the first couple of seconds when you see the kid cutting himself. he points to it showing that he and his music are the real deal and there's no fluff or fakeness around it.
As some have said it’s a song about himself. It’s reinforced at the end, as all NF fans know, watch/listen until the very end of all of his songs. Not only that, but in his other songs he says that he is in the cage, he is holding the keys, and so on. In other songs, the old man is in the cage holding the keys.
Um I've seen this said in other nf reactions but I'm not sure if its 100 percent accurate but Nate was raised by his father his mom had supervised visitation & whatnot which Nate show's & says in how could you leave us.. , anyways so Nate's mom wasn't the main parent in taking care of him & his siblings he just hasn't ever spoken much or sung about his father that i know of so far & this aint a spoiler that i know of cuz im kinda sure he Nevers says it himself in song its something you'll have to look up to learn more type of thing
I grew up looking at the Atlantic Ocean from my porch 4 years old my father threw me in the ocean and said sink or swim by the way they are sharks in the water I swam straight to the boat and he pulled in that's how I learned to swim

Truly enjoy your NF breakdowns!!
Thank you!!
This is my favourite NF song other than the search, thank you for reacting to this
What a banger of a tune too, the video changes the whole perception of the song 😉

NF is probably the best rap artist out there
Well done on the reaction
Love your reactions ❤❤ can’t wait for more!!

Love how you break everything down. Thank you.
Please react to NF- Nate
Would love to hear you break that down.
I don’t even want to go to your HOUSE (his mind). Every time I sit on that couch (lecturing himself) etc.

Excellent reaction. Glad you played right to the end and caught the twist.
I hope we can see your live reaction when you realize what is happening
This is the same man , with the painted face , in the outcast cage in the hope video

Oh no I left a mistake in here 😢 15:03 rip 😂
The old man was in the cage in Hope, so you know this is not a father figure
well this is a spoiler
@@justxpedroit is quite a big spoiler if you pay attention
Why is it only nf reaction?
When you pause the video of the son drowning look at the water waves it literally spells SOS so much in that
