@@tktk-om8cg as long as you throw a cooler on the trans and don't smack it in Drive make sure to put it in 3 if you are going to smack it. And do the oil pickup relocation along with and extra qrt of oil and you'll be fine.
Had any issues with your temps in the summer? I installed this kit on my 5.3 TB and the temps creep up if it’s a hot day out. I attributed it to the fact the LS1 fans don’t completely cover the radiator. I also have 170k miles on a stock radiator with a 187 degree thermostat. I’d like a second opinion to know if the LS1 fans just aren’t good compared to the full aluminum shroud with SPAL fans or if I should replace my radiator and thermostat with a 160 degree one.
I think I would need a dyno to do before an after but people have done that and noted a few HP gain. I have noticed about 1 MPG more on my fuel economy.
Great video. Did a 2006 tbss today with the 3 relay spal fan kit. Ecu plugs and pins are a little different but this video still helped a ton. Thanks

Where did you get that information /paper from that tells your which wire goes where?
Where did you get the dual fans, and the white wire you removed from what accessory it is and the green and blue what signs are for the new fans

I made another video about maximizing the ls1 fans. Check it out. They work fine for me.

Still going strong no issues with the cooling system. Be sure to check out the video on sealing up around the fan shroud that helped a bunch.

Did you need a tune for the electric fan conversion?
Yes you'll need to turn the fans on in the ECM you can do this with HP tuners. I did am update video on that.

Will that wiring harness work with Derale fans?
I'm not sure what connector is on the Derale fans, worst case you'd have to change the connector that plugs into the fan.
Did you have to upgrade the alternator?
No I'm running the stock alternator with no issues.

I'm not 100% sure I got them second hand. I think Dorman makes a fan that looks almost the same if you search ls1 fan on Amazon it comes up
