Basically the entire community dislikes goggins. Hes too loud, too much look at me. And the fact that he constantly talks about hell week tells you he didnt have much of a career to talk about. Nobody cares about hell week when youre an actual shooter doing the job.
The guy was named John Skop and he was part of class 235. At the end of hell week the class had to do an evolution in a pool where they swam on their backs and could only use their hands. He’d been sick from breakout and had been in and out of med check all week. During the caterpillar swim his legs went limp and he darted to the bottom of the pool. I think he had pneunomia so his air sacs were filling with fluid and he could barely breathe. He was halfway pulmonary edema. He died in the hospital.

Goggins is the best, I thought his book is an absolute must read. The part of him telling about how someone died in his 3rd hell week doesn't do what he goes into detail in his book about it. It's the realest part of the book in my opinion and it really makes a person respect what people do to become a Navy Seal. I thought I knew what I was before reading and listening to the audible of "Can't Hurt Me" but now I know I have so much untapped potential and I kick myself because of it. I'm working harder now than I ever have in my life because of his books. Yep that's right I said books. I'm currently reading "Never Finished" it's just as good if not better than "Can't Hurt Me" I highly recommend both books if you are feeling like you are depressed or have no friends, family or think you are worthless. His books will make you think again, I promise.
Prime example why females shouldn't be in the military and really most leadership roles inside the government. He's giving her extremely deep advice, and you could tell she didn't like the idea of examining herself. She doesn't want accountability, just like my female SFC who couldn't even pass a PT test and was an E-7 for 12 years. The interviewer then has to throw the "3 times" at him instead of a positive response. Let's see her survive hell week.
3 times? This dude is a machine. Buds hell week only has a 20 percent success rate. They bring you to your limit and beyond mentally and this guy went through 3 of them. Dude is not from this planet.
