    Subscribed. Didn't realize the gradient tool was this powerful until a few weeks ago.

    I think that the better way to show range of luminance mask is to press "alt" button while moving the slider.

    Great Tutorial! Dodging and burning landscape photos is something I'm not too good at, so this video gave me some good ideas as to what to do.
    Quick tip: when using the Adjustment Brush you can press the "O" key to activate the overlay instead of hovering your mouse over it. It makes seeing what your doing much easier. 😅

    Hi, could you do a Photoshop tutorial on dodging and burning too? I have less experience in Photoshop (learning right now) and I wanted to see the comparison with this approach in LR.
    There are many ways I've seen to do dodge and burn in PS too...

    • @ThePhlogPhotography
      @ThePhlogPhotography  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Darren, I will make a video about it! :-)

      @@ThePhlogPhotography thanks! I always struggle deciding when to use LR and when to use PS for these things.
      Other tutorials I'd love - colour grading to s palette and object removal 😀

    Very interesting,thanks. Please can you show editing of the same image in PS and LR? You say PS is much better with luminosity masks, but your LR edits look really good to me.
