    Thank you for sharing ! I really enjoyed see where you sew. I love how organized you are. I have to be organized too. After every project I put everything away & then start my next project. That way I know where everything is. That saves a lot of time. Can’t wait to see the rest tomorrow. Have a Blessed weekend !

      Yes PattyJo, I find that being organized and cleaning up keeps me calm and I enjoy sewing more. I get frustrated when I can't find something. Organization is key when you accumulate a lot of things over the years. You will see even more organization in Part two. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a Blessed weekend as well!

    Hi Grace! Thank you for sharing. It's ALL BEAUTIFUL!!! You make me want to move to Florida from Chicago.

  • @SewAndTellwithDori
    @SewAndTellwithDori ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I WANT YOUR SEWING ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful space to sew and create! I think you need to go out and buy more embroidery thread Grace, as you don't seem to have quite enough. LOL!!!! I worked with a man whose wife decided to trade her Baby Lock Crescendo sewing machine in for a Baby Lock embroidery machine. Couldn't understand why she didn't keep her BL sewing machine. I really love your sewing space and your family's gifts and support. Tom is soooooo good to you! Can't wait to see Part 2!

    • @sewlovelywithgrace
      @sewlovelywithgrace  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea ya think I don't have enough embroidery thread!! 🤪🤪 LOL It's shocking, I know! But I've been doing embroidery since 2012 and you really don't realize how easy it is to accumulate. I just realized it as I was making this video. Kind of like patterns and fabric! I took the brakes on getting any more. When you get to Florida, maybe you can stop by my sewing room. 🪡 We can go to lunch and shop too! Thanks for watching Dori! Hope your move is going well! 💖💖

      @@sewlovelywithgrace Exactly!!! Just like fabric and patterns. I went and got some Burda patterns, as they NEVER go on sale. However, I have more than enough Simplicity, McCalls and Butterick patterns. Have way too much quilting cotton also, so I completely understand about your thread stash. ❤

    • @sewlovelywithgrace
      @sewlovelywithgrace  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SewAndTellwithDori I don't even own Burda patterns. I'm going to run into JoAnn's and grab some today! ❤❤

      I waited all my life for this. We had this addition added when we purchased the home in 2018. I am blessed for sure. Hope you get a 'she shed'. It's awesome.

      Yes, it certainly is a dream. A dream come true and a long time coming. Back in 2018 when we were looking for a home, I centered that decision on a planned sewing room. That was a must have! I hope you enjoy part 2 as well. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks Zelda! Air plants were foreign to me too when I moved here. They are so unique. I have 2 sewing machines: my main and a backup. I have a serger, a coverstitch and an embroidery machine. I've accumulated all over the last 15 years. 💕💕♥♥♥

    • @sewlovelywithgrace

      Thank you so much! I got the 2 black/white lady pictures from Pier 1 Imports over 15 years ago. The other 2 ladies with the gowns I got from Walmart over 10 years ago when they sold artwork in their home decor department. More organization to show in part 2. Thanks for watching.

      Oh thanks for coming along with me on this tour. 🥰 It's been a dream of mine for years. When Tom and I moved down to FL from PA, it was a priority for each of us to have our own hobby space. This was a complete custom plan I had laid out for my space and he had his. I don't travel much, I don't shop for clothes or anything like that. I put all my resources into this space. I am blessed! Thanks for watching! 💖💖💖

      So he lived in the boonies and you lived in the big city? After his first stint in the Army, he and his Mother moved to Baltimore -- Dundalk, I believe it is. He doesn't have a lot of memories of PA but he does of Dundalk. He didn't live there for long though before he re-enlisted in the Army and then moved to a few different places in the country during his stay in the service. Hope you're having a good week-end!
