Loved "The Power of Now". Books that have changed my life are "Skinny Bitch" (about eating healthy and avoiding dairy, meat & processed food), David Allen's "Getting Things Done", and Marie Kondo's "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up."
Also recently read Elizabeth Gilbert's "Big Magic" and really enjoyed it.

I would like to recommend a book series called The Best Buddhist Writing. A new book comes out each year, and each book is a collection of Buddhist essays and stories by the best Buddhist writers. (I'm not Buddhist but it is amazing). Another favourite of mine is again, a Buddhist book called Hooked- Buddhist Writings on Greed, Desire, and the Urge to Consume. This one is life- changing as you say. Everyone should read this!

For me, this is an aspirational video. :-) I have several thousand books in my home and it's hard to part with them. I can't pick one that has been the most inspirational, but I have many that I have read many, many times. One day (soon I hope) I'll bring myself to sort and part with the rest.

Thank you for sharing these books with us! And thank you for your channel. You've definitely influenced me to become much more minimal just this month and I'm seeing a lot of differences in my life already! To answer your question, these are the books that have positively impacted me the most: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield (for getting the things you want most), Shadows Before Dawn by Teal Swan (for self love), The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks (for expanding past upper limits), and The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up (for realizing what you truly value).

I just finished the best relationship-book I've ever read, it's only in ebook format right now, but as soon as it's in hard-copy I'm going to buy 20 of them, one for me and the rest to give to every high-school student, college student, and everyone I know who is dating:
"The Old Money Guide to Marriage: Getting It Right--Making It Last", by Byron Tully
Another recent book I've read that is definitely mind- and life-expanding is "Become and Idea Machine" by Claudia Altucher. Putting her ideas into daily practice can be powerful.
This morning was my 558th day of using "The Magic" by Rhonda Byrne; she has a practice for each of 30 days, and after day 30 I go back to the beginning and start over again. I thought I was grateful and happy before I started using this book, but I was about 1/5 the amount of grateful before I started this book than I was at the end of the first month, it has been very powerful for me.
Wattles' books had a significant impact on me a few years ago, and I believe you've read all of them, too. I've read all your recommendations except Goddard, so I'm off to get that one now--thanks!

I love the book Your money or your life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin, books by Elaine St. James, The simple living guide by Janet Luhrs and as a mother my favorite English is 25 Things Every New Mother Should Know by Martha Sears, R.N., with William Sears, M.D.

The Bible has without a doubt been the most uplifting, life changing and enlightening book in my life. It gives me peace and hope and challenges me to grow as a person and believer. Another favorite is "The little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It also tells the story of a little good hearted orphan girl with a very positive outlook on life. I have not read Pollyanna (yet, although after this I have to;-) but the two do sound very similar! I am a sucker for these kinds of stories (also Anne of Greengables and The secret garden) as they are just GOOD and full of positivity and warmth.

Dear Melissa, You look fantastic in those colours! I find books quite hard to decluter, but still I donated most of mine books to the local library. My fiction book is "the little prince". My newest puchased book is "At home with madame chic". It's written by Jennifer L.Scott who is the author of a best seller "Lessons from madame chic". She also has a youtube chanel called "Daily Connoisseur".

Works of Jidda Krishnamurti. A main principle of his theory is: Everybody has to go his own path (not surprising, but reading it with his explanations makes more sense to it).
Alan Alda, the actor, is an interesting person to me who knows how to write good books.

Most transformative book I've read is a Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Maybe no one else can relate but I read this book in high school for the first time and it really made me look at my life and think about my actions, my properties and how they may effect others. It's a good short read

So many books and I`ve read most of them but I particularly love Eckhart Tolle.
The way that I improve my vocabulary is by following something that my English teacher told me many years ago. When I`m reading I use a piece of paper as a bookmark and always have a pen/pencil nearby. When I read a word I`m not sure the meaning of I just write the word down on the paper bookmark. When there are a good number fo words I look them up in the dictionary and write their meanings down next to the word. That way you always have words on the bookmark within your book and you will be amazed how quickly you pick new words up.

Haha, I enjoy reading through dictionaries and books like that as well (=
I love to write and I often feel like my words are so painfully lacking compared to the pictures and stories in my head, so expanding my vocabulary is really important to me. But I wouldn't do it if it wasn't fun (:
The one most influential book is really hard to pick... the most precious ones to me were always the ones I just could get lost in, like the Lord of the Rings or the novels written by Jules Verne. Haven't come across any truly life-changing ones yet.
Thank you for your recommendations, Melissa!

I think we owe it to ourselves to find the right faith and worship God. In return I feel so at peace and happy.
My advice would be judge the faith by the faith not some people in the faith as you'll find the majority are lovely but some are mislead by the devil and are horrible.
The Best Book that changed my life by really researching the facts was the Quran. I feel at peace and happy.
