This was one of the only RPGs I've ever played that had a leveling system where I simply didn't care what levels my characters were. The battle system was addicting and flowed as smoothly as any battle system I've experienced. Great game!

After playing FFXIII, I lost all faith of playing an RPG again... But then came along Tales of Graces f... And I've been hooked on it ever since, One of the best I've played... EVER!
You definitely should. Without wasting time doing sidequests it took me around 55 hours to beat the game. And there are tons of things to do in this game.

I love this game so much, it's my 4th tales game (Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia)! I'm so happy that they dubbed it!! and I can't wait for Xillia to be my 5th!! also I hope the localize the PS3 version of Vesperia because i freaking love that game.
I just love this game. Some bosses were really "mean" to me (spamming moves and stuff), but I loved how the story turned out and I also loved all of the main characters. Yes, even Hubert. I keep disliking his hair cut, but otherwise .. great game, really! Totally worth it :3
Great game imo. Doesn't let the series down. TOV is still my fav but this one does a sweet job of getting you immersed. Just need a modern game to replace Suikoden2 and i will be happy. Thanks for the UL :). p.s. Yuri and Lloyd are still my fav TO characters :)

tales of graces as i said is nothing, yes they may be cheap and can one shot kill you, but if you've ever played NMH2 on the hardest difficulty you would know what i mean by a 30 minute stunlock. Boss Number 2(2nd to 3rd last boss) keeps you in one area with her sniper shot spam and when you actually get close to her she jumps half way across to the other side of the building and repeats what she just did

yeah, ff13 demands a lot more from the player, for many that may be too much and for those tales of graces f is a very good alternative since you can play it a lot more casually. i enjoyed both games but actually prefer ff13 since battles there need more strategy and cant be won by just being good at fighting like in ToG
well there are some good jrpg's for the 360 as well like Infinite undiscovery and Star ocean the last hope and The last rememnant and also tales of vesperia of course

try playing no more heroes 2 on the wii, on hard difficulty. Its bad enough on normal as they spam moves now and again, but on hard thats all they do making it near impossible to actually beat some of the bosses

i dident play atelier, but you can choose the difficulty also you should be able to beat the game on the easiest mode and you may die 2 or 3 times.
