I’m on this same exact journey right now. Just gotta finish the Boruto story for storm 4 for the last few achievements. The amount of fights they want you to do for achievements got me wanting to die every time I boot up the game. I’m going to experience PTSD if I play connections.
Man, I remember getting the trilogy on PS4, and speedrunning the achievements. I got Storm 1 in around 1 day, Storm 2 in around a week (because online and titles), and Storm 3 in around 1 day... meaning that in slightly less than 2 weeks at most, i got 3 platinums. Quite the tedious experience (ESPECIALLY because of the grinding in Storm 2 and 3), but a memorable one nontheless. I then got Storm 4 too, and got the platinum in around 1 day there too.
Moe is a better man than me for acc spending time getting all titles on storm 2 because of that trophy I decided to drop getting the platinum trophy on that game 😭
I'm currently going through the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 grind and dear GOD I hate the Pain boss fight. I've hit the game's BS hit detection so many times during that fight (where somehow Pain in the middle of a combo will just not be hit by the next part of the combo, which means he can immediately recover behind me and shred my health bar). Plus the AI just loves immediately infinitely spamming the substitution on me during Pain's fight as well, and it took me about 20 attempts to beat him the first time for my base A rank (I honestly lost count but it was well into the high teens, low 20s). I still need to do the S rank and I haven't touched the game for a couple of days because I honestly came close to throwing my controller from the battle.
With Storm 1 I also incountered frozen achievements and also fixed with by 2nd controller, really weird but the 2nd controller does help for people who are stuck
It gave you support combo instead of support jutsu bc in the first game there’s 2 different kind of support you can put on a character, they have them both if they’re your only support character, and pressing rb or lb will change the attack, and you ended it with the combo attack so that’s why it was “bugged” unless ofc you’ve been doing both for a while and you only got it bc of P2
one thing I'm glad about connections is none of the open world bs I wish they expanded upon storm 1 the most- sound 4 boss, proper kakashi vs zabuza fight also the storm 2 fragment was such a chore, after grinding the ps3 version, i never chased the fragments of the ps4
One hundred precenting Naruto Storm 2 was a pain in the ass! I did it once back on the Xbox 360. And NEVER did it again. Even with the Naruto HD collection on PS4, I just couldn't be bothered to do all that again. I've platinum every Naruto Storm game, but two! Naruto Storm 2 is still one of my favorites! But fuck those trophies! 😒

Why can't you invite friends on launch? Easy, they want you to keep having friends, if they all start day one with you they'll either whoop your friendship to the shadow realm or you do it.
All Right let's be real here, Unlocking all of the achievements in every Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm game is literally time consuming. But hey, it also has lots of content and gameplay from all of the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games, love it 💯💯🔥🔥🎮
After seeing some gameplay from people who got the game early, I think people have forgotten how little extra content went into each storm game. It seems CC2 put a lot more effort and time into the mechanics & character changes than they did with all new content. Still some disappointments, but I feel this game is going to be just as good as any other storm sequel.
