We bought a brand new 2016 Terrain and had it for 8 months and we were involved in a 50 mph head on collision. This vehicle absorbed the collision like a champ! We walked away without so much as a scratch. We went straight back to the dealership and bought a brand new 2017. The collision safety on this car is incredible. I’ll take a 5 star true safety rating over a new redesign any day of the week. Love our Terrain and it loves us back.
Just bought a 2017 4 cylinder and I'm suprised how to quick it is. One of the reasons I bought it was because I prefer the traditional design and traditional instrument panels etc.
@Jonathan A at least for me it feels crazy slow. I had one as a rental for a month. Yes, I understand for most people it’s fine. But for me it’s not enough
I love the look of Terrain. It dares to be different and masculine. If it was more reliable and had a more efficient engine, I would buy one. When Cameron put it in reverse, I thought the car was saying "this car is a death.... trap". lol
Matthew's Car Corner not mine! Mine looks like no one else's out there! & it's faster then most other terrains! Mine is sexier then the terrain nighthawk edition!
i like the size of the truck. the only thing im worried about is if i buy a truck of this size is that it won't fit in my garage because of how big it is.
My only complaints are the volume/phone controls on the steering wheel need to go on the left side. When holding a coffee or drink and trying to adjust volume or answer calls becomes clumsy. I also find that when answering the phone with the car it rarely connects on first try. I always have to hit the "transfer call" button to get the call through the radio. Sometimes more than once and sometimes it won't connect at all. Not sure if anyone else has that issue?
Do all 2016 SLE1 models come with remote start? If not, is it just a matter for programming a keyfob or will a receiver box need to be installed in the vehicle too? I keep getting mixed answers on this.
Cameron I have a question I love your new channel it's very funny and makes me laugh my question is why is Land Rover rated very poorly and also rated very poorly for reliability I think and of always thought they were nice cars but I guess not what do you think? Thank you so much!
They are rated poorly because of there reliability, they are very nice cars but for the price you pay its certainly not worth it. Land Rovers (Not Range Rovers) are a much better value.
The 4cyl is the base engine designed for those who don't have towing needs and are looking for better gas mileage. I have a '14 Denali with AWD and V6 which is 301hp and has a 6sp auto. It hauls ass and surprises many a ricer at the lights. I tow a 3000lb trailer during the summer and still get 17mpg highway. When not towing I can consistently get 17city/25 highway. Truck is very comfy/quiet/smooth. Quality is good and no rattles/squeaks. Will definitely look at new one when time comes.

Glad you have a positive mind about these. Terrain/equinox with the 4cyl might be one of the slowest vehicles I’ve ever driven

I love your videos bro, very detailed. Everything I could want to know about the vehicle, you cover, down to the minute stuff. Keep up the great work!
Holy cow , I was 10 years old when this car arrived. Re-design!
K.C.'s RC The car design is 7 years came out fall 2009 as a 2010 model.
Cameron, I think both the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain both need a full redesign. Do you agree?
I think so.
I hope so, same goes for the Chevrolet Traverse and the Buick Enclave which is the mechanical twin of the Traverse

noooo man!! the new design sucks balls. I just got a 2017 and I love it!! the boxy style is sooo much better than the 18 version
you're looking at the base model btw.

Is this about as roomy as the new Acadia or about the same since it does have the same wheelbase?
Cameron, can you please review the GAZELLE NEXT?
You should review the Lincoln Continental. love your videos bro.
They redesigned the Acadia. Why not the Terrain?
cameron do a 2016 subaru brz

Time for a complete redesign. Just saying!
I AGREE with a BIG FAT YES
O yeah for sure!
Which will be next year
Best car
Dude sounds like kip
this car getting fugly, needs updated or completely redone soon. 7 years is way to long.
It's decent car, but NEEDS a redesign now.
New design please!
You forgot to honk the horn ;)
Good
Build quality on GMC's cars isn't very good.
GM for that matter. the 4 cyl on the terrain and equinox sound so clunky and rattly when idling.

This car is in desperate need of a redesign.
