My mother drove "professionally" during World War II (staff cars and ambulances between the Alameda Naval Air Station and the Presidio in San Francisco, often at high speeds through traffic, siren blaring). She was an experienced strategic driver. I must have heard a thousand times to drive a mile ahead of you, not "at the end of your nose." If you need to see through your hood to notice obstructions on the road, you're not paying enough attention to the road ahead. Training people to look at the road right in front of their tires is stupid. You need to see the road conditions developing all around you, not just under your bumper.
So, we tell people not to text and drive and pay attention to the road, then proceed to put a million things in the car that require you to look away from the road. Lol
Any good feature won't require you to look away from the road. Texting and driving is serious though, it kills many, many more people than drunk driving does.
These are some amazing features. I have learned that the simpler a car is built the fewer potential problems which means more reliable and some times easier to fix.
I think we can all relate that the school year has started and when you come home tired, cranky, sweaty, nothings better then siting down and watching be amazed. But i just had an amazing idea! Can you please, please, PLEASEEEE, make some back to school stories? I could be revenge, dumb, ANYTHING! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.
Aside from the smell from the toilet car seats, you’ve forgotten the elephant in the room: PRIVACY! I don’t want people looking at me while I’m doing my business!
13:18 I think the pitch meeting for this went something a little like this: "Hey! wouldn't it just be awesome if the rear view mirror was always covered in finger prints?" "Yeah! let's make it a touch screen! awesome!"
I got an awesome cam mirror on temu for $120 and it's amazing. It records in 4k and gives me a view from and back better than any mirror ever has! I can see much further on both sides and basically hv no blind spot. Worth every penny!
You can put all the bells and whistles and cameras on cars you want. You'll still have people like at 2:42 driving the wrong way through a parking lot and getting in others way.
A note about the heads-up display. That was invented for the US military by a company my grandfather and my mother worked at, Singer Librascope, back in the 1950s. It's fairly old tech. It was installed in fighter jets so the pilots could get all their coordinates and info while still being able to keep their eyes on the surrounding airspace.
My brother has the 21 Sierra Denali 4x4 ext cab. It has the heads up display and All the Awesome cameras that can give you perfect alignment while parking. It’s a big and long truck. But I have the hang of it now-well I hope I do! Love thei channel and he keeps cracking jokes at most!!🤣🤣🤣
Another cool invention is a creation by Swedish company Koenigsegg, they use a special type of door called KATSAD (Koenigsegg Automated Twisted Syncrohelix Actuation Doors) and the way its created was so that drivers and passengers could get out of the car without hitting the doors off curbs and to make it easier to get in or out without hitting any parked cars.
Why don't delivery companies just buy cars built for the markets where they drive on the opposite side of the road? UK, Japan, Australia.. lots of places where you can get a factory right hand drive vehicle.
I love how the demo for the Benz 360 parking camera shows them driving the wrong way down a oneway parking lane. Expected behavior for many drivers. Its just missing the part where they get mad at someone going to correct way.
My parents Park Avenue had a feature where it projected the speed basically onto the windshield, but where it looked like it was in front of you and you never had to look away. Now think, how many times per minute do you take your eyes off the road to check your speed? And how many lives could have been saved by not looking away. That decades old feature may be better than any presented here.
I am going to go out on a limb and guess the attachments that allow a vehicle to go on train tracks are for vehicles that are working on train tracks only. No one needs to be on tracks other than that. What happens if someone goes on tracks on a high bridge (especially, over water) and a train comes? No where to go. Unlock other trains that have levers that can move tracks to help the train go to another track to avoid other trains. This is also only probably used in the train courtyard (base area) in small areas as it is still dangerous for cars.
That first one would be great to put on squatted trucks/SUVs to increase visibility if the owner of that truck/SUV wants to keep their vehicle squatted.
I like how Hyundai is touting their keyless entry system when ford has had a keyless entry system for decades. The numbered buttons on fords driver door has a specific number sequence your car comes with to unlock and lock your doors. No need for expensive fingerprint and face scanning technology. That crap is why cars have gotten SOOOOOOO expensive
GM has the driver's mirrors that utilize rear cameras. And even better, on select SUVs and trucks you can get the package that works with rear cameras on trailers so the driver's mirror sees what is behind the trailer.
a fingerprint scanner is problematic when you live in a region like Canada because during winter you can't unlock a car equipped with such a device if you want to keep all of your fingers (by-30C if you remove your gloves, your fingers, so your keys, won't last long and what about the risk to your finger to stay stuck to the scanner) a face scanner have the same problems
My car has a high tech auto parking system that scans the parking slots next to it and when it finds an empty place, it parks by itself without any help from the driver. (The car is a 2013 Toyota Auris Hybrid Executive model)

Yeah why add things to make people look at the new contraptions on the car instead of the road? That is just stupid
A mobile car repair shop seems like a great idea for the last invention 😁

15:42 The arm rest in my 2007 4Runner folds out into a tray to eat. Also it’s the perfect rolling tray 🥲
Gesture Control would be hilarious combined with a person that 'talks with their hands' or signs. 🤣
The toilet in a car is just nasty!
Imagine using it then hitting a speed bump 🤢🤮🤮
as a car fan this is heaven for me
hope you enjoyed!
@@BeAmazed I definitely did! 😁 Ngl it's an honor to get a response from you

I love this channel 🎉!
I want some of the airless tires !! Now that's an idea that amazes me lol 😂
That ear alarm is out of date before it was even made. My wife's Lincolns and my Fords have had this tech for years already, built into the dash.
i don’t think Be Amazed CAN fall off 😅
You thought correctly
I wouldn't want an airless tire with slush frozen into half the spaces. Mud and gravel could get interesting, too.
My favorite is that last one. I'd live in it!
The airless tires… what happens in places where there’s tons of snow? Don’t the gaps gets filled in, then frozen solid?
The train cars made me think of cars 2
BE AMAZED 🎉🎉🎉
Great compilation, love little Be Amazed and his outfits.
Under 12 hours
cool stuff
Full rubber tires are practically puncture proof, they're just more expensive
They would also be much heavier.
True very heavy and impact engine performance 😢
Another awesome video!! Keep them coming 😂
Thanks! Will do!
The Alert Me will be mandatory
It really shows how far we have come in technology advancements!

Pinching a loaf while driving. The future is gross.
Nice Easter egg to back to the future movie!

Congratulations! You are pathetic. Be proud of yourself
I remember Top Gear tried one of those Alert Me devices and made fun of it and exposing that it doesn't work.

Just having a car would be fine with me! 😂
I see a price tag OFF THE CHARTS!!
The commode idea is good but you still gotta drop your drawers. That might not be possible all the time!
Just stick your ass out the window like a normal person.
2:30 basically almost evry medium budget cars have this feature😂😂😂😂
I like your videos
14:13 we all know that espresso is hot and it is unwise to drink hot drinks while drinking it

That SOS sign is pretty dope...I told my brother about it and I think he's already looking for 1 LOL
The Toilet seat cut be interesting for Amazone driver.
Increadibillity😂
I love the last one
coool! Now where are the retrofit kits for self driving and stuff so those of us with older (and superior) vehicles can enjoy that kind of tech too
Personally I wish that I still had my 1973 GMC JIMMY !!!! 😢😢😢😢😢
I am glad to drive a Wartburg 311 Convertible from 1956, GDR`s only try to build a reasonable car.

Just more garbage that breaks, I will stick to old cars that cannot be immobilized remotely.
Love you man❤
An indestructible tire would make it so much harder for cops.
My twin and I look so alike I can open his phone 😂

Mazda have fingerprint readers on the door handles..
That’s false
That screaming ear 'alertme' thing has been around since the early 80s
Apparently, pulling over and taking a nap on ur way to work is frowned upon. 😂
That first one is used on some military jets, pretty cool.
The heads-up display? Yeah it was invented back in the 50s by a company my grandfather worked at. They had military contracts.

a face scanner have the same problems
the toilet car seat is basically a guide on how to take a shit in the car
The only problem with finger scanning is that if it's like a phone then eventually everyone could steal your car 😂
Ever have a problem losing your keys just get some neodymium magnets and stick them to your front door. Put your car keys ON the door.
