There was an AMAZING story that circulated a good decade ago about "Brother Orange". Story is, a dude was out at a bar and forgot his cell phone on his table when he went to order another round. When he rushed back, it was already gone, and no one saw a thing. He had to write it off as a loss and figured that's where it would end. Surprisingly, though, it turned into this INSANE story where the cell phone was sold abroad in China and the dude who bought it, having no idea it was stolen, let his kids take photos with it. Eventually this led to OP and the father/new owner coming into contact and then OP traveling to China to meet him after some time of messaging one another. It turned into this amazing wholesome story where the two became like brothers and the new owner even renamed his restaurant to reflect the nickname "Brother Orange" that he'd been given while OP had been trying to figure out who he was. (Side note: oranges were involved because he owned an orange orchard, iirc, so his kids took photos with oranges a lot.)

Here's a couple more from Australia. Story 1 A media personality had a current affairs show with a Your Say section, where viewers could get themselves on the show and air their opinions. One bloke did that - which probably isn't a wise move when you're a wanted criminal on the run. He was recognised by the cops, tracked down and arrested. Story 2 This one I saw for myself. A scumbag shoved an elderly lady to the ground, snatched her handbag and ran off with it. He did this on one side of a local government building and ran around the other side to escape. But he didn't realise that was a dead end, thus giving us the chance to lock the gate behind him and keep him there till the cops arrived.

I was watching this show about dumb criminals. You got to the story about the man who was running from the authorities in Canada. He ran south to Astoria, Oregon. I live in Astoria, and I read about that story in our local paper. I could not believe the stupidity! The dead (stinky) fish on the porch of the Goonies house, the stolen boat that capsized, the rescue by the coast guard...all the way to the capture. We laughed so hard because of that story! It was great to be included in your video! By the way, you are our favorite narrator in all of TH-cam. You are very entertaining. Please don't ever leave!
I used to work for a fast food joint that had a walk up window. We had been robbed several times, so the window was intentionally very narrow (just wide enough to fit one of those 4-drink trays) and only a couple of feet tall. While working the walk up window one night, a guy pulled out a knife and tried to swipe it at me while telling me to give him the money. I just took a big step back and was out of his range. This genius decided it would be better if he was inside, so he attempted to climb in through the window, getting himself stuck in the process. The best part was, somehow, his arm holding the knife ended up behind his head, so I was able to neatly pluck the knife from his hand and call the cops. The best part was when the police got there. They came to the first drive-through window and I told them, "he's on the other side at the walk up window". The 2 cops then walked around to the other side, *walking by the dude stuck in the window in the process* and to the other drive-through window. I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't tell them, again, where he was. Dude turned out to be so jammed in there, the FD had to come out to get him free. This was the guy's 4th felony, this time with a weapon, so my guy got 30 years!
I really hate it when people ask for subscribers when their content is trash, but Be Amazed is way different! His content is really good. He really does live up to his name!
