    "Was never proven innocent."
That's a fundamental misunderstanding of how the legal system works.
It is on the prosecution to prove wrongdoing of the defendant hence the 'Guilty' or 'Not Guilty' verdicts, which is why it's 'Not Guilty' or not proven as guilty rather than 'Innocent' being the opposite judgment.
You might say he wasn't 'exonerated' however, that is also false given that her text messages were quite damning to her claims that it was non-consensual.

No surprise. Very difficult to disprove an accusation. If the man who made accusations turned out to have had more evidence show up, or if he was found to have gone after some other woman after the fact, stuff like that could show things in a new light. Unfortunately, there is nothing new here, and there are WAY too many false accusations that fly around that we should just believe all women. You lost me at the point where you said universities across the country aren't doing enough to teach boys not to be attackers. Videos may help plant a seed, you fail to mention the lack of punishment for attackers (which are covered up because what university wants to be seen as unsafe). You also fail to mention the open and very vocal of condemnation of false allegations and open and public apologies to the falsely accused.

When will men and women's words carry equal weight? False accusations aren't even ususally punished. Lying about a SA/rape is virtually a no-risk weapon women can currently use. Defamation cases are also hard to carry, and she's probably not rich enough for the case to even bring him money. You quote an "expert" saying victims don't come forward immediately due to shame. Sure, that is true. But I'm curious why you don't cite equally studies showing officers believe up to half of SA claims are false? Look up Aydin Paladin's video on false claims. Can't be 100% sure but BPD and narcissim or psychopathy 99% sure don't go hand in hand, while paranoia, distorted memories and drastic actions are way more likely... except not if the thing she regrets is her own choice and merely another impusle that put her in a shitty situation.

@rayewonderland I've dated multiple victims of assault that she spoke of, none of them would like to even talk about s3x or would have texted things like that girl did. She didn't wait , she formulated how to get back at the guy that didn't want to be with her. Even my wife says this girl is a liar and I'm sure many females would agree , especially ones that have been assaulted like she claimed to be and watching how she handled it. She came up with something that would give her the attention she wanted. The attention her parents didn't give her probably because they both were doctors and didn't have the time they should have to spend with her. Not her fault but she even admitted years later she loved the attention that she was getting from it. She posed for pics with the people that were against her and her lies years later, a person that was really assaulted wouldn't ever be seen with people that wrote stories about her being a liar and standing up for her supposed attacker. Again in America innocent until proven guilty, the burden of proof falls to the victim and she failed on that account because there was no proof, no msgs to friends about the incident, no msgs to her family about it, nothing, then all of a sudden she has this idea to make an art project out of her assault? @Shade-Cloak I've got to respectfully disagree. I dated a girl with BPD who made an adult film with some men when she was 16 and someone sent the video to her dad and she claimed the Mattress girl'd her just to save face. To this very day she insists it was 100% against her will.
I've since looked into it and yeah, the story was 100% bs. Between word of mouth, contacting witnesses, looking into the legal history of the cases and just having dated her and seeing her for the lying monster she was I can say that she was 100% lying. Like yeah, the guys were bad for doing what they did, and I'm not saying any of it was ok, but she 100% wanted it and made sure these men got as much prison time as possible just so she could look like the victim.
Seriously mentally ill women will 100% lie about that and feel no remorse.
The problem is that a lot of people with BPD never get held accountable and just keep pushing the envelope with what they can get away with. Most of them only feel bad when their actions have consequences. that effect them.

If an American was studying in Europe, had something bad happen to them and then moved back home after graduation, they didn't run away from it since that's what they were going to do anyway.
You also suggest that the spelling in the name is different for similar reasons. It's not some alternative spelling of his name, it's the ORIGINAL spelling. Nungesser is the alternative spelling. It would be like suggesting that a Chinese-born man decided to hide himself by spelling his birth name in Hanzi, the original spelling. My son is going through this right now. His live in girlfriend attacked him while he was sleeping and he woke up defending himself because he didn’t know what was happening. When I say defending, he pushed her off of him while she was choking him. She called the cops and off to jail he went. We’ve retained an attorney and he’s just a mess. He confessed that this has been an ongoing issue with her mentally and physically abusing him and he was too embarrassed to say anything about it. It’s heartbreaking and expensive to fight against false accusations. My heart goes out to you men. ❤

The LAW IS Innocent until PROVEN GUILTY!
There's no such thing as "none of this means he is Innocent "... either it was proved he was guilty or he IS INNOCENT.

well yeah legally he was claimed to be innocent. but that doesn't mean it's impossible to commit a crime and get away with it so, hes just saying the evidence brought up to cast doubt doesn't definitively disprove the accusation. just like how the statistics and the psychology of victims makes a pattern that makes the event more plausible, but they don't actually prove the accusation to be true.

The most amazing thing about this psycho is that anyone tolerated her at all. Way too many people allowed this abuser to continue.

@antikommunistischaktion Yeah, I find it odd with the overwhelming evidence that she lied, he closes the video still defending her and suggesting Paul was never proven not to have raped her... which isn't how USA law works. Not to mention it was proven she lied a lot, the other accuser was pushed to make the accusation by Emma and the other accusation seemed to simply vanish strongly goes in his favour. While she kept showing weird behaviour, telling different stories of different times she was "abused" and went through some random image and belief changes rather rapidly, like a narcissist/sociopath who just emulates people around them.

In the UK there was a lady who accused a man of r. Fortunately they were captured on camera in a shop which absolved the guy. The police refused to prosecute the woman. The guy was fortunate and rich enough to seek a private prosecution but then the girl un alived herself. And that was the end of that

Performative acts like this should be a red flag, victims should file a police report and coordinate with authorities for criminal prosecution. It is also a cautionary tale against casual sex, beside unwanted pregnancies and STIs.

The university completely mishandled this case. No one’s names should’ve come out and this should’ve remained a private matter. By allowing this to become public, they fanned the flames for all the protests, think pieces, etc. and further antagonize the guy. Most of the time, these cases always are always gray and not black and white like we think they are. If privacy isn’t first and foremost, these things get out of hand and misrepresented.

This is such a complex topic. "Believe all women" I mean. It feels horrible to say to someone claiming to have been raped, "You're lying." You can't know one way or another in most cases. If you take their word as fact, you do away with guilty-until-proven-innocent. If you assume they're lying, good luck creating accountability for disgusting rapists.
It seems like the "obvious" solution is to not believe or disbelieve. Acknowledge you can't know one way or the other and wait for evidence. Unless there were cameras or witnesses, what possible evidence could there be though? Since you can't prove rape occurred in most cases, it's so tempting to just believe all accusers.
That's where my bias comes in for me. I was falsely accused because I was hanging out with a woman a lot since we worked together, and her boyfriend (who was abusive) got very jealous and was yelling at her about spending time with me. Eventually she ended up telling him I assaulted her to redirect his anger from her to me. I talked to her years later, that's how I know that.
So if I supported "believe all women", then I'd be supporting a pattern of behavior that could lead me to being a falsely convicted rapist. On the other hand, what other solution is there for actual victims? I just hate it all.
