There was a period of time where I thought the term "SJW" stood for Standard Jewish Woman. Why? Because the first time I encountered the term was from some person I followed on Tumblr when they contributed to some long-ass post, going on-&on-&-on about various oppressed minorities, ethnic groups, etc. etc., and she kept bringing up the fact that she was some sect of Judaism that began with the letter "S". Over time, I forgot what the "S" word was, and somehow I just kinda made the connection in my brain that "Oh, J stands for Jewish, and she was a Woman, so the S stood for... s-standard(?) Standard Jewish Woman? Sure, why not." Years later, looking back at it all, I kinda wish I could send a message back to myself from 10 years ago, and tell him "No you idiot, SJW stands for Sausage Jehovah's Witness", just to confuse me even more.

The fact that they did on camera for the express purpose of disrupting an official meeting would absolutely be enough to prosecute in any state. Wonder what happened instead.
Here is my theory of why the Karen phenomenon reached its peak during the pandemic and petered out afterwards: With quarantine, narcissistic middle managers were suddenly cut off from their primary hunting grounds (the office), and were reduced to screaming at grocery store employees for stacking the oranges "wrong" in order to get their narc supply. They did not always stop to consider that out in public, everyone has a camera in their pocket, and unlike in the office there is no stigma or consequence for anyone using it to record your adult toddler nonsense and make you a viral star on social media. When people started going back to the office, these creatures got their hunting grounds back and didn't have to work their evil in public anymore.

I hate that I was so hateful in my young age because I watched all of this and blanket judged so many groups and ideologies. It was formative, and I grew out of it, but it's crazy to see some of these clips when I'm so much older. The fact that these things got so much attention was very telling to the modern culture at the time.
I think that what caused the SJW meltdown era to cool off was a combination of mockery serving its intended purpose in that people started making an effort not to do things that would make them into a joke and hurt their own cause as well as a generally heightened awareness that the camera is always rolling whenever we're in public these days.
OK to clarify the Big Red thing... I was part of the 2013 ordeal where she was screaming in a friend's face and mocking that his brother had committed suicide. Why you didn't mention that, shows a lot about your direction. He remained calm, quiet and tried to only speak when there was a moment - while she was screeching and bawling in his face, accusing him of numerous crimes. Yet, when he addressed the fact that he wanted to talk about men's issues such as suicide, given his brother had performed this act some years prior. She then went on to mock him, singing "Cry me a river..." - she was a vile, nasty individual. Also, the terms 'woke', SJW, all those - the right didn't invent them. The left leaning people took them for themselves. Woke is a particularly troublesome theft from the black community that white lefties stole... that is why the right leaning mock them using "their own" terms. When "The Red Pill" came out, Casey shows what happens to feminists who genuinely look at men's issues. They either mock them, as Big Red did (and continues to) OR they actually develop enough empathy to include men... and once they show signs of empathy for men, they're cast-out of the feminist movement or they leave having observed the hate it promotes. Look at Erin Pizzey for another example, Christina Hoff-Sommers for another, Wendy McElroy... the list goes on. Every time a feminist show any empathy towards men - they suffer abuses, character assassinations, and generally removed from the sisterhood. This history repeats itself over & over again... It's a guarantee.
Terms like woke and SJW have been redefined by the Right so to say the right is simply using the terms to mock the left is false. They've redefined the words, and like all propaganda, using buzzwords over and over again are key to programming the population. Back in the 60-70s the Right used terms like "moon bats". History just repeats itself

The fact that they did on camera for the express purpose of disrupting an official meeting would absolutely be enough to prosecute in any state. Wonder what happened instead.
Here is my theory of why the Karen phenomenon reached its peak during the pandemic and petered out afterwards:
With quarantine, narcissistic middle managers were suddenly cut off from their primary hunting grounds (the office), and were reduced to screaming at grocery store employees for stacking the oranges "wrong" in order to get their narc supply.

@@km76 Do you know a clip of her yelling and singing "cry me a river" at him?
Well said, the video was entertaining but clearly biased.
The amount of damage these people done towards the male and female relationship is tremendous. Especially feminism suffered a lot from them
Theyve all become meme legends, but Luke Crywalker's face and wail is still frequently used most of all. What a claim to fame
On the bright side, these women have been immortalized as memes. yes, memes poking fun at them, but they'll still be on the internet forever.
On the Internet, the most important commodity is Attention. And that is what these, um, "women" (?) have in spades.
Ngl every time I say I’m a feminist, this is what people think. It’s ridiculous, imo.
Being immortal pile of crap is not a destiny one wants to aspire.
@@EndotheliaFeminism came from a more noble place. People like Big Red have turned it into something negative.

Thank you for making this. I was wondering what happened to these people.
This was a trip down memory lane. This is a good retrospect of everything that happened outside of Gamer Gate that has led the current culture war. A few faces that probably should be here like Moldylocks. A bit dark but maybe Mattress Girl as well. Glad to see Smugglypuff. That one always stuck with me.

4:25 could falsely pulling a fire alarm to disrupt a social movement you disagree with by force be considered terrorism? The most pathetic kind but yes I would call it terrorism. 4:48 that is the only reasonable thing she has said.
Would pulling a fire alarm at a Hitler rally in 1930 Germany be appropriate?
That is 100% terrorism
Doesn't terrorism require use of violence? You sound like the PTSD chick.
if you consider that terrorism, then you're a baby
I once had a crazy women attack me for no reason. Something something my dog Dunno exactly, she sounded like a helium balloon zooming away after somebody put a hole in, so I couldn´t audibly understand what her problem was. Long story short, I had to bring out the pepper spray after she got physical. I called police, they took her with them, she claimed she´s going to sue me, nothing ever came out of it and I never heard from that person again.
I just don´t understand why people have to be like that. God bless the pepperspray.
She probably wanted your dog. I have seen this happening, not only with dogs, but with cats and other animals. People stealing other people's pets.
good for thegamerfrommars on being a neutral voice on this sort of stuff. It's tricky business, but it's interesting.
Some of these people really don't deserve the backlash and some absolutely do.
Great video! A lot of people became memes to the point the context behind it was erased and what they had to say were irrelevant because so many opinions were attributed to them they didn’t actually agree with and they just became a symbol or a scapegoat.
Holy shit. The balls on It's Ma'am to call someone else a Karen.
Apparently she was actually being harassed not solely by the employee but various customers. If someone was being deliberately cruel just to get a rise out of me, I’d probably freak out too. And she’s an easy target because everyone hates trans people, and she doesn’t pass well.
“Hey! Who wants to help me get this reporter outta’ here?! I need some muscle over here!”
Violence over diplomacy, mob mentality, prioritizing personal opinions over basic constitutional rights - it’s interesting how frequently people become the thing they started out fighting against no matter what side they started on.

I watched a lot of atheist / skeptic youtube back in the late '00s early '10s, so I saw how the content shift happened over time. Then I started to see the social justice stuff popping up more and more in college. The day my friends and I noticed we could order "Hot Chocolate with Gender-Neutral Marshmallow Snow Beings" from the campus food court was a day to remember lmao. 1:04:00 This SA statistic really needs a bit of expanding. It isn't just R@pe. Depending on which source this is based off of, it likely also is an assumed statistic based upon what is thought to be the theoretical amount of unreported events that the researchers then combine with actual events to reach a number like 1 in 3 women..
It was based off an anonymous self-report phone survey.
Depending on the State you live in, you are right and wrong at the same time. In most states only a man can rape. Women can only assault, particularly in scenarios where the woman is older and the male is a minor. She cannot *EVER* be charged with singularly titled crime of rape, only statutory rape. I will find the Ga State code if you don't want to bother searching through the legal-ese.

Nobody suffering the consequences of their own actions is a victim.
victim, noun: a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action.
I was skeptical at first but this was a great video. Definitely gonna re watch
The victims are the people calling out bad people but are treated like they're the same as these extremists
Because being extreme in the other direction is also really annoying. Shocker I know

Multiple systems of oppression can exist at once and most often reinforce each other. I do anti-genoc*de protests for Palestine while at the same time advocating for women's liberation, while also helping fellow men deal with their own oppression under patriarchy.
For all you know I could be a black man, who by default experiences oppression just for existing in the US.

Lots of these ones went viral in part because they look like that, the average person that supports women’s equality is not going to have blue hair. Stupid question
@WarriorXena446Stereotypes are TOTALLY made up and not created based on common characteristics present in a group of people who share another common characteristic

1:04:01 False. Thats an incorrect citation from the start. Its not taken from that, it's taken from the 1 in 5 that keeps getting lowered further and further. And BOTH include self reporting and things that are obviously not grape. I believe the original polling included "feeling uncomfortable" and other things that are so subjective and inconsequential it might as well not count....
After all, IF that were true, American Colleges would literally be MORE DANGEROUS than wartime Congo. Where grape is used as a weapon of war. The highest on the planet. America is not the grape capital just because some college girls claimed to feel uncomfortable in the past 12 months...
This "statistic" would also necessarily need to ignore rapes that occur inside prisons. If you include those figures, you'll find that men don't get of light at all.
PLUS if you were to dig in to what other demographical patterns you find in these "statistics"... you'll find some disturbing patterns that fly in the face of the "oppressed minority" narratives. There aren't legions of Brock Turners terrorizing the women of america.
All true, thank you.
Claiming to have PTSD from online harassment and then continuing to post on twitter sounds like someone that is simply trying to silence critics rather than using actual facts to dispute the criticism and back up your beliefs.
yeah but most of the criticism was from dickhead so not worth the time arguing back
I'm sorry, it seems like a lot of the people you're framing as "victims" are only victims of their own actions. Also, you talk about Jordan Peterson being wrong about the bill he was initially against then, just a few statements later, talk about him being sentenced to reeducation for tweets. I'm not sure you know what the definition of "victim" or "wrong" are.
