Thanks for the video. Quite clear explanation. I see some filters are with Active Carbon, not sure if this is true or just a scam. What removed and installed seems having no room for this technology ? comments ?
XOVER The term is activated charcoal filters, not carbon. Basically these filters are designed to also trap fumes that can accumulate within the evaporator box from the ac unit. By trapping these fumes and sometimes moisture, the chance of microbes growing is very slim. This will cut down on the musty smelling ac that some cars suffer from over time. Charcoal filters are also more absorbent that the traditional particulate filters. There are two disadvantages to the charcoal filters. Price and replacement frequency. They are more expensive and should be changed more frequently due to how much they absorb and they can only absorb so much before they become “full.”
Thank ! I had to change mine by myself. I am 77 years old, a female, thanks for your video, you explained it made it so easy.
It might help to mention that the OEM filters do not indicate airflow direction but simply identify which side goes "UP'.
My OEM actually did indicate air flow direction.
Your video is awesome. Thank you very much.
Thanks for your video how to replace filter in details,
Perfect video thank you!
Thanks for the video!

Both filters in this video are installed 90 degrees from correct....the foam ends should be going front to back.
