Thanks David, books are a must! I'm always grateful for a good recommendation.
As a teenager, I found Wilbur Smith. And discovered that historical adventure novels aimed at men were my thing ❤️
I especially enjoy the ones based on truth.
Looking forward to your next read.

I just want to quote your book- as a young British intelligence in Cairo, archaeologist and adventurer Thomas Edward Lawrence became involved in the 1916 Arab revolt, fighting alongside rebel forces..Did he impress women? Yes! That seemed to be the main hub in this book.

Is there a place and a time to protest outside the sentencing hearing?

Thanks for sharing your aspiration to share book reviews.
I hope you read more versions of what went on in Arabia and discover the truth of it.
Some time ago I read a chapter recounting the history of Australian forces in Arabia from the online library of the war memorial in ACT.
It mentioned the arabs that the British engaged. The reading showed that they were not committed.
The qur'an says so too. The Arabs that the British engaged were assisting under contract. They worked the minimum and sugned off, as I understand.
    God knows best.
I suggest, for reading material, chapter 63 of the Qur'an, The Hypocrites. It is very useful, kind of the opposite of Macchiavelli.

Keep your chin up, get your hair trimmed look smart and you'll feel smart. Don't let the bastards see the wear. I recently spoke to an amazing lady on the train, there's decent people there, not many, but enough you make a difference for
