Tamla Horsford didn’t jump off a balcony & Kendrick Johnson didn’t roll himself up in a gym mat. Thank you for using your platform to get these (otherwise brushed over) stories out!
It's so sickening how these cases are just completely brushed off. Crimes against Black and Native people are so purposely overlooked and it's disgusting, anyone who says otherwise is turning a blind eye. So many crimes that need to be truly looked into. It's heartbreaking.
The second was “the female Bob Marley”, the third was the “hurry up get off the phone” with her husband and sons. Yeah. Those 3 chances called for an immediate self dismissal
I lived in forsyth county for almost 20 years and was living there when this occurred. I absolutely LOVE your description of the type of women that were involved in this terrible situation. That is THE Forsyth County woman/ball park mom. The type that puts liquor in their Togo cup to the ball field or even has a rolling bar cart in the back of their $80,000 SUV. I used to serve these types at a restaurant and I believe 100% the type of ignorance and stupidity involved in this. I truly do hope that her family gets answers and that justice is served in this case.
I don't think they were ignorant they just act like they are I can turn my white on I was raised in a racist State when I was little and I had to act white I had to become white to be one of them just to make it through the day so believe me you can turn that white on and off easy as making a cherry pie and believe me they can become racist like a lightning bolt and strike you like a freaking cobra watch it because they're not all nice as pie they're lizards underneath they hide their evil golden chains and feathers wrapped around up tightly golden darts and arrows on them and I hope they be revealed I hope amen
@@merlin2946My thoughts: black women are often stigmatized as being bitter and having bad attitudes. She’s in a group of white women who she doesn’t seem to know that well; maybe she didn’t want to make a bad impression. I’m thinking even if she felt hurt by their comments about her gift, she probably tried to laugh it off and stick the evening out as to not come off as being dramatic and emotional.
Its so sad that her kids will always be triggered by slumber parties knowing thats how their mother never came back.😢 The body language is interesting in all the photos nobody is connecting with her they all have avoidant positions.
@@VanessaElizabeta a lot of black people from the Gen X and Boomer generation, were taught to do the most to make white people feel comfortable: “Make sure you smile” etc etc.
Prior EMT here, police can’t call us off unless the patient requests us to be canceled or the patient leaves the scene. We have to show up and release the body to a coroner. Police don’t do that (at least here in MS), we do. The police will secure the scene and get EMS workers info if there’s a possibility of foul play. Muscles usually don’t stiffen, to the point they described, until 12-24 hours. That alone should be considered strange. This case was a disgrace. This poor woman and her loved ones deserve answers and justice. As a fellow Southerner and first responder, I’m appalled by the care she received.
I am a death investigator and there's times I am called to scene and EMS was cancelled because of signs of an "obvious death." This would be decomposition, or obvious rigor. It's rare they call them off, but it does happen. I pronounce when I arrive. If Tam died around 0130, at 0830, rigor should've at the most been partially starting to develop (depending on outside temp). EMS should not have been called off in this case, so sad!
Reading your comment impacted me so much because it's just so heartbreaking to see a mother of 5 go like that. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I do hope that one day this gets resolved
@@MidwestMom As long as you’re called, I understand EMS being called off. Sadly, it doesn’t seem like that’s what happened. I agree that EMS should’ve been called too. I’ve worked one death during summer with someone who was dead for 4 plus weeks. Police could smell them from the street and called us asap. It was a rural area and the patient was elderly and lived alone. They knew it was unlikely there was foul play but we were still called. If we were called for that, this poor woman should’ve definitely had EMS.
The fact that NO ONE turned her over, tried to give CPR, touched her to see if she even was alive SHOWS they never cared for her before she ever even entered the house. So sad
They did touch her. They touched her leg and said she was stiff. That means she had been dead for hours and she looked like a dead body. Most people are scared to touch a dead person.
@@OfficiallySusanYeah, most people are reluctant to touch a dead body; however, if you don’t know if the person is dead you would check. You would especially check if that person is your friend no matter if they seem to be extra still or you’re grossed out by dead bodies 😢
@@OfficiallySusanyeah a dead person not somebody they don’t even know is dead or not her body would take HOURS to stiffen that means they didn’t mind being around a dead body for HOURS
I personally love that you aren’t afraid to call out racism and the harm it causes. I also love that you applied the historical context because that does matter.
@@kayleytwenter They are victim blaming but why would you willingly go to an all-white racist city? Also, while Tamla was at the party, the other women were being weird to her. She chose to ignore these signs and paid the ultimate price.
@@LOSTGPSif it was me, I wouldn’t have went. If I absolutely had to go, I would have left when they talked about my tequila. But for Tamla, she was trying to fit in and make friends. She might have thought they were just teasing her. I mean any reasonable person would think that if they didn’t like her they wouldn’t have invited her. From what I’ve heard (from other covers of this case) is that Jean was friendly towards her before inviting her to the party.
Strange how Jeanne said she didn’t want to stay up because she had to be up by 5:30am but proceeds to “sleep in” until she is “woken up” by her aunt at almost 9am…..
@@hannabanana592 I’m just curious what prior commitment she had at 5:30am. Like was she able to just move it around? Bailey! It’s crazy how you say you’re just a “random person on the Internet”, but your theory makes so much more sense than anything the police came up with. Thank you for the amazing work you do in bringing awareness to these cases!
What she says makes a lot of sense and connects a lot of dots. The one thing I think differently though is about how the Xanax got into her system. I think they roofied her. That would explain why she was effected by the alcohol so much more than usual and the overly affectionate behavior towards the women around her. Any grown woman who makes a point to not take medications certainly is not going to willingly do so with alcohol in their system.
100% but the only part that doesn't add up is why José placed her so perfectly.. he's law enforcement, he'd surely know to leave her body more accidental looking, right?
@@JP-iz9cz José wasn't exactly law enforcement in the sense that we all assume. He was a pre-trial release services officer, which is similar to a probation officer. They handle people who are pending trial basically. So I don't think he would know much more than like you or I about staging a crime scene.
@JP-iz9cz her feet being together with toes pointed to the house tell me that she was dragged into that position. If you think of someone pulling you by the arms, your legs will fall into that exact position
Bailey, thank you for highlighting this story. When the news broke about Tam’s passing I remember having a suspicious feeling that no one would be arrested, no one would provide the family with closure by telling the truth, and that her life was disposable. Thank you for spreading her story and trying to help her get justice. The emergency services definitely failed this woman, who was a mother, wife, friend, and she needs justice.
There's a lady named Kelly Sigler. She solves could cases. She has a TV show. She would be the perfect person to reach out to go a case like this. Check her out. I may have spelled her name wrong but you should still be able to find her on line.
Police do not and are not allowed to pronounce death. Only doctors or coroners can make a legal pronouncement of death. A police officer can not pronounce someone dead unless they are decapitated, decomposing, or burned. EMS or a coroner HAS to come to the scene to pronounce someone dead. That alone has my hackles up, big time. I will be signing that petition. This is totally asinine.
@TheJoannalicious In that case then EMS would need to pronounce death at the scene. And I know not all coroners are licensed physicians but they can pronounce death. Unlike police.
I was thinking this too. In Nashville, the district chief for the fire department goes even if the caller indicated for sure death. And the caller has to say specific things or the engine and ambulance still go. This story is crazy.
As a fire fighter paramedic I was surprised to hear that part too. We can pronounce as a CCT medic, but I haven’t seen many counties that can pronounce as a cop. Especially without EMS on scene.
Petition signed! This is so very sad. I hope they reopen this with an agency outside of their district. There is most definitely something going on here. It boggles my mind and makes me so sad, that we still have so much cruelness in the world. Thank you Bailey for continue to educate us and spreading the word. I’m sure a lot of us would have no idea what is going on out there. Thank you!
As a retired police officer, I am disgusted by these officer's actions or lack of actions. They should all be fired. You can clearly see no real investigation was done on this case. Shameful!!!
Detectives only solve crime on overtime. No, but seriously. You'd be appalled at how LITTLE police work a lot of detective bureaus do. They're usually vested positions that someone gets into and can retire at...thus, they have no urgency or accountability to actually close cases. At least this is the case at my local PD 🤷🏽♀️
Well she probably has a entire team of people that help her research these things. It's also what she does for a living. Probably dedicates a lot time to all her videos
Great case to cover, so many unanswered questions. Your theory is legit the best I've heard! I love when cases like this have been chosen to be spotlighted because the loved ones and the victim deserve answers/justice and that only happens if more people are aware of the information. Great work Bailey! 🖤
If Tam was my friend and I was there I would have been flipping out, screaming, and losing my mind. I could not be calm. Even if she wasn't my friend, how could you be so chill? That is a life! Lord how mercy. Thanks for sharing these stories. Like another person mentioned, you use this platform to bring to light these stories.
Many people can't live with the guilt of these secrets. Hopefully someone slips or they feel the pressure to reveal the truth. Hoping for justice for Tam.
Idk… some folks have NO CONSCIOUS AT ALL…. Will go to their grave with the terrible secret🤷♀️… a falling out between guilty parties usually reveals stuff like this when someone gets mad enough to tell..
Do you think if enough people throw a fit and contact the FBI and do all kinds of stuff like that and make a whole s*** show out of it that they might get something done?
5 boys, a stepdaughter, a husband, a family, and friends. They all must miss her dearly, and I hope they don't feel guilty. She was the kindness we need more of in this world, and these heartless monsters whether intentionally or by accident, left her to die. I hope she and her loved ones are resting peacefully. 🕊️
I think it is also possible that the drugged her with Xanax as a "prank". They had bullied her before and I suspect she was the punching bag of the evening.
i wouldn't be surprised. And as someone who didn't take Xanax regularly like the other women, even if she did take it willingly;she may not have known about the interaction with alcohol. Whether an accident or on purpose, someone needs to be in jail. Five boys are without a mother.
I actually think Bridget was the dud of the group, always there, desperate to be liked and she’s done it thinking it’d get her in with them for real. She’s someone who’s desperate to be a main character instead of a background extra. She’s totally “sidewalk woman number 6” energy.
Exactly what I came here to say! It is WILD that the cops would be like, "A screenshot that's easily edited, GREAT" let's not check the actual app or anything...
I live in Forsyth, GA, and I have never even heard of this story... This should have been EVERYWHERE. I'm so happy you did this story, Bailey. There is something beyond suspicious with this one. I hope Tamla's family is able to heal and find answers.
the police did such a horrible job at handling this case and it frustrates me so much it’s so clear that there was foul play involved and NOT an ACCIDENT !
The moment you said, “Forsyth County” I already knew. One thing for certain, I would NEVER go to a sundown town. Ever. *ETA:* A sundown town is an all-White town, neighborhood, or community that was intentionally created by systematically keeping ethnic minorities, (primarily Black people) out of their town through the use of discriminatory laws, harassment and threats or use of violence. Do they still exist? Yes, there are some that do. The signs saying “No _________ Allowed” may be gone but the racism and judgement are still prevalent.
Don't know much about Georgia but i do know not being welcome. Not trying to be insensitive towards Tamala but they was being rude so both me and my tequila would've went home. I don't go anywhere i'm not wanted. The minute they would've start being rude would've been the minute i went home.
The level of rude in regards to the gift- I’m so sad that her last human interaction was with this group. I wish she had called it a night and a cab😢😢😢
Yeah, that was really mean. Like even if you hate the gift someone gave you, you smile, take it from them graciously, set it down somewhere and say "thank you!".
738,007 signatures so far on the petition! Keep sharing, keep talking about Tamla’s story! This case needs to be reinvestigated!! Her kids and her family deserve the truth! 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Georgia resident here, and so thankful that you covered this story Bailey!!!! I completely agree with your thoughts on the events of the evening. It’s the only thing that makes sense with her injury’s and positioning. Another Georgia case that needs to be re-investigated is the case of high school student Kendrick Johnson who was found dead rolled up in a gym mat. Investigators say he fell in head first. There is A LOT of evidence that says otherwise. Please look into this one.
Public notice: The instinct when you see someone fall or laying on their front is to flip them over, but unless they are poisoned, in immediate danger, or lying in liquid, DO NOT turn them over! If they have fallen this can PERMANENTLY damage their back and/or nerves. *Obviously* check for a pulse and breath, talk to them, but unless a first responder tells you, DO NOT roll the person over!
Thank you! I was thinking this the whole time. I understand the instinct to flip them, and even the expectation, but as a trained EMT, the risk of traumatic spinal injury would absolutely make me hesitate.
Here's my theory: the other women were already being awful to Tam & made her the outsider, so when she wanted to stay up Jean got annoyed & got some Xanax from Bridgette & they spiked Tam's drink. They might have even spiked her drink earlier & that's why someone was always with her when she went outside. All the substances didn't interact well & Tam felt weird, so she went outside. She'd said a few times she wanted to go home but they couldn't let her in case her husband realised what had happened. When Tam was on the balcony that last time she realised someone had spiked her drink, she accused either Jean or Bridgette (probably Jean) & they got angry & panicked when Tam stated she was going to leave. There was an altercation & they pushed Tam & she fell down the stairs. Everyone involved is freaking out & Jean gets José to help cover things up. When Bridgette's husband turns up they tell her to go so she doesn't raise suspicion. José takes charge & directs Jean (& anyone else involved) to help him but they're panicking so they keep leaving doors open. Jean makes the call in the morning but is freaking out & so passes the phone to José. It makes more sense to me that Jean was involved somehow because José wouldn't risk his job for a friend of his girlfriend. However if the woman he's living with is involved then he's going to help her. Aside from love as a motivation, it's her house. If she's in jail & he didn't help stop her going there, then he's not going to be living in that nice big house any more. He'll lose his girlfriend & his home.
Yep your theory makes sense. They didn't care about her. I don't think they intentionally killed her but they were being suspicious and 1000% covered up evidence and are lying
I'm a reserve detention officer, and I can tell you that dispatch and police officers (including detention officers) know each other. They're typically friends within a coworker setting. So I wouldn't doubt they're looking out for each other in a corrupt setting.
The fact that you are acting out their voices has me weak, in no means is the situation funny but acting out their persona gives me such a better visual!
Georgia resident here. I'm also black. It's an open secret not to get caught outside of the metro area because once you leave, you're considered "fair game"...even in 2024. We still have sun down towns for example. Going on a road trip? Be careful where you stop for gas, and DO NOT draw attention to yourself.
I live in Missouri and unfortunately in my highschool town my mom brought in a black lady that stopped at the gas station across from us after dark. My mom was terrified something bad would happen to her so she slept on our couch.
My sister lived in Georgia for a bit. She told me she would love for me and my partner to come visit (he's black) but that she wouldn't feel comfortable for us to go out without them. We never went of course.
WAIT! There's so much more. Deputy Chris Shelton was fired for posting pictures with black-faced dolls, now get this Tamlas husband went into the Funeral Home where Tamla was, and he said that her face was painted like black face. You can believe what you want but there's a lot more to Tamla’s story. I hope that everyone involved reaps what they sowed.
Oh wow that is really messed up. It sounds like something that one of the really racist groups (probably can't mention those groups by name in you tube comments). that originated in the south might plan as a party. I wonder if those guys that were there were members of any of them.
Your theory on this actually had my heart racing! I could envision it happening in my mind and I can honestly believe how you explained it, makes the most sense. It fills in all the missing pieces in a realistic way. Love watching your videos ♥️
Bailey your suspicions are the most accurate. Xanax girl definitely had something to do with it. She was talking too much! Tamla had no reason to walk that woman to the door and sure as heck would not have kissed her on the cheek!?! That woman was giving too many “details”. The “aunt” probably heard the commotion since she was downstairs. So she had to keep changing her story. The boyfriend definitely helped Bridgette move her body. This is so sad and I pray she gets the justice she deserves!
This case is a prime example of why you should never mix pills and alcohol! Especially Xanax which is a benzodiazepine this kind of medication greatly intensifies the effects of alcohol. I 100% believe Bridgette would have known that and that she was sharing her meds with everyone at that party. Such a sad case 😢 rip Tamla. I hope her family is doing okay.
Hahaha when bailey showed Bridget and her interview I was like - "wait, what? This is the bish that she said tamla walked to the door and hugged?! NO WAY we're those 2 great friends. I must have heard wrong" so I rewound the video and realized - oh yeah, duh 🤦that bish is lying🤣
Yep, bridget the xanax queen is lying and it's so obvious it makes me feel embarrassed for her. People who tell the truth dont give this much convoluted detail and offer so many unrelated confusing bits of info like this. Also giving away some kind of guilt by trying to add in info from after she left. If she wasnt there but shes discussing what happened after she left she was either there at the time or she discussed it with others, as Bailey mentioned she said she spoke to Jose. Police should have been better at guiding the conversation because time is also limited in these situations.
as someone who grew up in forsyth county, thank you for spreading this story. it infuriates how much it has been suppressed by my community and our disgusting history tells you all you need to know
This is why I support you !!!!! You're literally unproblematic and you call out what's right and wrong !! I love your content baileyyyyyy ❤❤❤❤❤. Thank you for shedding light on this case and how racism still very much exists !
Sometimes I take a break from listening to true crime, but when I inevitably come back to your channel, I realize how much I miss your voice and personality. You’re the friend I always have fun with when we finally see each other again. ❤
Your theory is EXACTLY What happened, like it’s PERFECT. I think he played on the door sensors for the story, to make it seem like she was going in and out throughout the night
loved that you took your time at the beginning of your vid to talk about racism, love to see creators use their platforms to raise awareness on these matters.
MMMMDAYS DONT USUALLY MAKE ME CRY. The saddest, most heart wrenching fact about this case to me, is the jammies. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but I heard that and immediately thought of a woman getting to be a girl again, excited for a night with ladies to have fun with. Given her devoted motherhood, this was much more to Tam than some ladies bday party, making it all the more sad how she was treated throughout before a cruel fate.
I just watched this episode again. This is a masterpiece in storytelling. TV networks and other crime podcasts don't compare. Bailey paints a clear picture of the characters and their motives. The historical context, the interplay with Jose's connections, Bridget, etc all play into the case. Bailey and her team are amazing and I hope this episode wins awards. I'm properly outraged for Tamla and her family.
Upsets me you say you’re just a random person on the internet because genuinely you’re such an inspiration. You bring so much awareness and facts to true crime and at the end of the day this was somebody’s daughter somebody’s wife and somebody’s children and I KNOW you spreading some what the truth or awareness for this case brings them so much love x
I saw the thumbnail and my heart drops everytime when I see the photo of the girls together at the slumberparty like that, with Tamal, the only POC woman, being the only one who got hurt/die. It’s heartbreaking. I use to be so mad as a kid that my parents were so over protective. Especially when my parents never let me sleep over at my friends’ house and of course I was the only one who couldn’t go, but now that I’m older, I’m so thankful for it
This is the most thorough exploration I’ve heard of this case. I’ve been hoping you’d cover it. It’s so obvious what happened here. RIP Tamla. Edited- petition signed.
I really appreciate Bailey using her platform and her popolarity to reignite interest in case like this. I hope Tam’s family and friends will find justice one day!!
As far as the ambulance being called off, I have a family member who is an EMT and they said that a coroner deals with a body but EMS shows up to confirm the absence of heart activity. And that they don’t know anywhere police would cancel EMS unless there’s VERY OBVIOUS signs of death. Suspish to say the least. Also, mixing Xanax and alcohol is dangerous. And someone who is so reliant on them is typically warned of that. Mixing these can depress a person’s nervous system, making it hard for them to move and even causing them to not breathe. It’s dangerous.
Fr I was given xanax by a dr. and drank on it, not knowing they didn't mix. Which is crazy cause we rarely drink. (it was not clearly marked on the bottle and the dr. Never told me; this was before the whole opi0d awareness movement across the USA. My husband asked me never to take it again. He said it made me aggressive and verbally abusive. I agreed and never took it again, it freaked me out so badly to think I treated him like that and didn't remember it since I grew up with addict parents, it was scary. It's super easy to get addicted to it, too.
I agree. I'm an emt and we come confirm death with the cardiac monitor. Especially in an otherwise healthy young individual with an unknown cause. The only time police cancel us is when they are pretty much decomposing.
Your comment literally provided a reason for why they would've called off an ambulance and then said suspish. What? Make it make sense. There were obvious signs that she was dead.
@@-xxMelissaxx- I can see how that was confusing. Let me elaborate: “Obvious signs” would be decomposition, key parts of the body missing, extensive blood loss at the scene, more gore, etc. For this case, there was not any of that and as someone replied earlier, for a person who had no medical history to suggest a sudden death, and the fact that EMTs are needed to confirm death along with a coroner in most cases, it is suspicious. Tamla’s death had been within hours of being found, but the exact estimate of time was not made clear, even then, since it had been so recent to her being found, a coroner would be needed along with EMS to confirm death. Because there would not have been advanced decomp, or an extreme injury that would lead one to conclude she was dead. It wasn’t that type of crime scene.
My aunt literally went into a coma from mixing Xanax and alcohol so my first thought was Bridgette being a regular user would HAVE to be aware of dangerous mixing those are
I have strong thoughts on this case ! Let’s say there had been a house full of black women and only 1 white woman and this white woman ends up dead in the backyard,EVERYONE would’ve lost their minds !! I think the owner of the house was jealous of Tamla because her boyfriend was flirting with her in the kitchen and her and her mean girls friends pushed her off the balcony while she was outside smoking !!!
I think the same about jealousy. Or she was so affected by the alcohol and Xanax she thought she was at home and walked into their bedroom and got in their bed then they all threw her off but idk. It’s defo strange.
I love how smug Bridget sounds during her interview- she probably left and told the others from the party “oh don’t worry, he loved me! He told me I was the most pleasant interview he had ever done” I charmed the pants off of him!
as someone who grew up around that county and now lives very close, i believer they are 100% covering something up, the connections within that county is insane. that county has the worst energy you can feel it as soon as your inbounds
Please if you don’t mind and get the time to sign can you call up their sheriffs office I was SO happy with all the calls people were doing at the time when this broke the news I think even email is better as people were both showing and audio recording the interactions this might be why there is a chance of re-investigation and I live in England else I would myself
I saw a Tiktok about this case & HAD to know more. Went down a rabbit hole & wound up on this video. This was my 1st time seeing your videos & all I have to say is WOW! I wish I'd found you sooner! I'm now binging all your other videos & I love your content SO MUCH!! You also remind me of Boze, who also does true crime stuff 😂 You're beautiful inside & out, don't change a thing, Bailey! 🥰💖
As adults we should know when someone doesn't like u. Please don't try to fit in where you aren't wanted. This was adult bullying gone completely wrong So sad.
As a black woman, she shouldn’t have been trying to fit with anybody in that town in the first place. I remember Oprah went there for here show, like back in the early 90’s. They said exactly who, and what they were to Oprah, knowing it was going to be broadcast on TV to the world. And they were proud of themselves. Absolutely no shame.
Bailey you doing the accents & that impression of Bridget is the best part of this video 😂 I believe part of the reason you’re so successful as a TH-camr is because you’re actually HILARIOUS. I love you!!!
Does anyone else find it super sus that she took a SS of her notifications, but not of the actual app with all the info on it? And even more sus that the police didn't clock that as suspicious?
Yes!! I never even thought of her falling down the stairs but the minute Bailey said that everything made sense. For real a lot of detectives could use Bailey. Just give her the information and then let her have a go. I bet we’d have a lot more solved cases and people charged that deserves it.
It makes sense for the injuries but why move her? Falling down the stars is as much of an accident as falling off a balcony, in fact it’s way more plausible than the balcony??? Why wouldn’t they just leave her at the bottom of the stairs and then call 911?
14:15 imagine someone's going on a trip and they buy the best of the best alcohol for you, like you CANNOT get better tequila than you can get in mexico straight from the source, and then when they gift it to you you announce how much you hate it. Absolutely vile
Your theory honestly makes so much sense. I didn’t think about the stairs until you mentioned it and that would definitely account for all the different cuts and bruises. I really hope they reopen this case someday because stuff definitely got covered up
I freaking love you, Bailey. I know doing these dark stories can weigh down one’s psyche and can get a bit heavy after a while, but I want to say thank you so much for what you do and the energy you put into it.
They absolutely killed her. Either as a collective or one person killed her and they all banded together to cover it up. Im leaning more toward the former. Something happened in that house and everyone there that night knows exactly how she died.
@sbonelli Some of them left early. But the rest should have all been interrogated for hours at the station. Especially, the boyfriend and the homeowner lady.
I work in forensics at a police station and it’s very rare for people to NOT touch the body. They always look for a sign of life and are always very clear and upfront about touching them or if they moved them in any way (to do cpr or try to wake them up). This whole thing was handled so poorly
I think your theory is pretty spot on. especially with the fact that you should never mix Alcohol with medications. I think mixing Xanax and alcohol probably made tamala very dizzy, probably couldn't really feel her legs. the way tamala was positioned made it seem like she literally Dove off the balcony like there was a pool she was diving into. I think she fell down the stairs and the husband and Bridget moved her. they could have easily just called 911, explained it was an accident and possibly could have saved tamalas life but of course they obviously didn't.
Thank you so much for covering this case. I've heard so many different takes on what people think "really" happened, and your theory seems to make the most sense. During Bridget's interview, she started to say something about José and then quickly switched it to something else. She definitely has a guilty conscience, but like you said, she likes to talk. I believe one day, hopefully soon, she will break and tell someone. I hope for the sake of Tamlas husband and kids they reopen the case. On the one year anniversary of her death I saw an interview her husband did with activist Tamika Mallory, and he said the night of the party he didn't want her to go and they had an arguement about it, and how he will never forgive himself for making a big deal about it. My heart broke when he said that. Her family deserves justice.
Your theory makes so much sense! The stairs feel like the most plausible answer for the injuries. Maybe Jose purposefully kept the back door open when he was finished thinking it would look like Tam had left it open behind her before she "fell" off the balcony, setting the scene for an accident that happened while everyone else was asleep. Whatever happened that night it's terrible, and I don't believe for an instant there aren't people who were there that know exactly what happened.
Ok but if she fell down the stairs and died , then why not leave her there? Unless there was something obvious about it being foul play... I don't get why they would move her to the grass when the injuries wouldn't match
Strange how Jeanne said she didn’t want to stay up because she had to be up by 5:30am but proceeds to “sleep in” until she is “woken up” by her aunt at almost 9am…..
My thought is that they left the back door open the last time to make it look like Tamla went out by herself, fell off the balcony and since she passed away never went back inside… so sad.

It's so sickening how these cases are just completely brushed off. Crimes against Black and Native people are so purposely overlooked and it's disgusting, anyone who says otherwise is turning a blind eye. So many crimes that need to be truly looked into. It's heartbreaking.
These cases need to be solved! Poor people need justice!
If theres a cop involved or suspects that have relationships with cops, a different district should definitely step in and investigate
This should definitely be a law
The county or state should have investigated.

A married woman has no business sleeping over anyone's house. Specially where there is alcohol involved. It never ends well.

Why anyone would want to be around people that treat you disgustingly is beyond me.
@@merlin2946My thoughts: black women are often stigmatized as being bitter and having bad attitudes. She’s in a group of white women who she doesn’t seem to know that well; maybe she didn’t want to make a bad impression.
Thank you! I was thinking the same thing. The police can't pronounce a death.
Thank you I found that information so weird I was wondering since when do police call time of death or even give an estimation.
So sad
Or, more likely, they didn't because they already knew
Crazy to think no one ever thought of doing that, they didn’t care at all!!

Bailey! It’s crazy how you say you’re just a “random person on the Internet”, but your theory makes so much more sense than anything the police came up with. Thank you for the amazing work you do in bringing awareness to these cases!
FACTS!!
Some counties do not have like licensed/qualified coroners (I think), the sheriff elects a buddy. Coroners also don’t need to be licensed physicians.
Bridgett sound a little guilty!!
As a fire fighter paramedic I was surprised to hear that part too. We can pronounce as a CCT medic, but I haven’t seen many counties that can pronounce as a cop. Especially without EMS on scene.

Detectives only solve crime on overtime. No, but seriously. You'd be appalled at how LITTLE police work a lot of detective bureaus do. Same! Five little boys have no mother and a husband lost his wife...and nobody pays? This was NO accident!
100% agree!
Your theory makes a lot of sense!! Those women were mean and absolutely involved from the beginning. This family deserves the truth
I believe that. The combo of xanex and alcohol probably killed her. Then they covered it up.
Yep your theory makes sense. They didn't care about her. I don't think they intentionally killed her but they were being suspicious and 1000% covered up evidence and are lying
I think this is a solid theory!
That’s exactly what I’m thinking happened.
I was thinking same
This was a really sad story, those women weren’t her friends.
That friend circle is probably not even friends with each other.
They weren't her friends. Her husband said she didn't want to go, but she wanted to keep a friendly relationship because their kids were friends.
They are demons
I'm a reserve detention officer, and I can tell you that dispatch and police officers (including detention officers) know each other. They're typically friends within a coworker setting. So I wouldn't doubt they're looking out for each other in a corrupt setting.

There was literally a picture of Tam on top of her on the couch. Seemed pretty close to me.
Police should have been better at guiding the conversation because time is also limited in these situations.
as someone who grew up in forsyth county, thank you for spreading this story. it infuriates how much it has been suppressed by my community and our disgusting history tells you all you need to know
The history is not disgusting
I grew up here too! I had no idea about any of this, and I'm so ashamed of my hometown.

The method acting in this episode is on a different level! Bailey can't get enough of the southern accent
Sometimes I take a break from listening to true crime, but when I inevitably come back to your channel, I realize how much I miss your voice and personality. You’re the friend I always have fun with when we finally see each other again. ❤

Samesies. I could listen to Bailey talk about anything. Lol. I think she's a comforting personality that we all like. 💗

Your theory is EXACTLY What happened, like it’s PERFECT. I think he played on the door sensors for the story, to make it seem like she was going in and out throughout the night
As someone who falls quite often, your theory is dead on, Bailey Sarian!
Why didn't perfect friend Bridget offer to ask hubby to drop Tam off at home? 51:00
I thought the same thing!
Right!!!
Because she wasnt a true friend obviously!

Tam was already dead 😢
loved that you took your time at the beginning of your vid to talk about racism, love to see creators use their platforms to raise awareness on these matters.
This is exactly what got to me aswell 😞
Same!!
Well said! She has 5 boys and a husband. What woman wouldn't be excited to escape the testosterone for a night of laughs with the girls?!

So true. She brings these stories to life and is so respectful of the victims. We only get minimal info in the news.

Very obvious as are the reasons. Would had never went to that party. If it dont look right, im out of sight.
Death by misadventure yes. Bailey presented baseless speculation. I guess you missed her saying they are theories. Irresponsible of her to do.
Your theory is spot on. It is shameful how her case was handled. Prayers for her family.
Facts!!!
BOOM
So true!
I think the same about jealousy. Or she was so affected by the alcohol and Xanax she thought she was at home and walked into their bedroom and got in their bed then they all threw her off but idk. It’s defo strange.

Your hypothesis as to what happened explains everything, I think you are spot on and that’s what happened
Yes!! I never even thought of her falling down the stairs but the minute Bailey said that everything made sense. For real a lot of detectives could use Bailey. Just give her the information and then let her have a go. I bet we’d have a lot more solved cases and people charged that deserves it.
I agree 100%. Falling down the stairs or someone pushing her down the stairs makes so much sense.

I absolutely love that you covered this case because the math is not mathing in this whole f**ked situation. They totally killed her
They absolutely killed her. Either as a collective or one person killed her and they all banded together to cover it up. Im leaning more toward the former. Something happened in that house and everyone there that night knows exactly how she died.
Sounds like an Annie Elise fan here!!

The lady that gave her xanax was probably afraid because she didnt want to go to jail for that. People are dumb that way. @mrsks5399
I was thinking that as well.
Or thats where they cut off the screen shot
