Great workman ship and nice to see someone who takes pride in the work that they do and the tractor looked like a million bucks when done. 👍
Thx man….
My 135 needs the exact same thing. I need to set aside the time to take her all apart and repaint it. Yours looks GREAT!
Excellent work well done your a credit to the John Deere lawnmower industry!
Thx
Looks like brand new great job
Thx.
Just bought a used one. Thanks for the tips
Great work! Can appreciate sandblasting down to the bare-metal. I've seen other videos where all they do is remove the yellow paint, grease, dirt and no primer. Kudos!!
Thanks.
Nice work! I am doing a LA 145 right now. Same deal. Had to pull the deck, strip it and repaint. It will be for sale soon hopefully.
Awesome to hear. I fix about 10 a year. Keeps me busy.
Rust-oleum "Sun Yellow" is a great match for JD Yellow. It's only 6.95 here in Florida. I actually like it better as it's just a touch deeper yellow.
👍
Thanks for making this. What yellow paint are you using? It looks great and I’d like to use in my JD.
Rust check paint or sometimes I pick up a few cans at my local John Deere dealer. Thx...
I add a weld on the edge of the blade..then grind a bevel on her...plus pulley belt covers..an all those other small parts from..
Where do you buy pulley brake parts from..cant find anything on ebay..Australia..
I buy my parts from the dealer and amazon.
What kind of paint you used for paint the deck
Por-15 black. Then John Deere yellow in a can.
How much you sell it for?
This was in 2020. I sold it for $1600cad. (1200usd).
@@WeekendHobbyMechanic that’s not bad but for all the work you do I would charge top dollar. Because probably nothing in your area can match that.
@@alexroski8454 I did raise my price later on but still sell them too cheap. lol..
Just something about yellow & green that makes people throw money at you.
Flashy!
