In the first moments it was like they'd always been at war with the Jedi but some time afterwards it slowly began to wear off and one by one the clones began to realize just what they had done. And who they'd done it to.
That's Plo Koon, not Kit Fisto. Fisto had already been dead by that point after the emperor killed him when he went with Mace Windu, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tiin to arrest Palpatine for being a Sith Lord. All 4 were considered to be some of the most skilled Jedi in the order. They were still killed by the Emperor within seconds if each other with ease.

Saesee Tin was a mediocre jedi master and Agen Kolar was taken out first due to his ability with a saber. The movie didn't do Kit and Agen justice at all. Love the symbolism. While the Jedi are leading the war against the Separatists. The true war is being waged in the shadows. Both sides thought they were fighting for freedom, or for independence... but they were only ever fighting for Darth Sidious.

You can see kai adi mundi shaking his head in utter shock before he dies. the sounds of the creature crying as it falls to its death just as Anakin's betrayal sets in. It is without a doubt the best scene in the series for me. He painted a cinematic masterpiece.
