@@ATS357 I figured that. It's beautiful. I gotta get my hands on one. I own an ATI AR 15 pistol. Great gun for the money. 1911 will be my next pick-up to go alongside my Walther p22q. Nice video on the ammo I didn't know much about. Your video was very informative.
The thunderbolts and blazers are the only two bulk ammo that will cycle our LCP ll reliably...we are plinkers primarily using lever and single actions, those guns will run anything, so we can dedicate the aforementioned brands for our autos...as long as we can find any brand at a good price, we have something that can shoot it, cheap plinking rules...!
Thank you for you comments. I totally agree, these two have run flawlessly for me. I can't say that about all 22 ammo out there. Price are CRAZY right now! I hope that things will get back to normal soon.
@ATS, I have this same pistol (gsg 1911). Does yours run CCI Mini Mags well? Mine has the most fails with cci mm hollow point, but runs better with everything else (Federal, Aguila, Cci Blazer), LRN or copper plated solid or hp. It's quite strange. Anyone have the same experience? I haven't tried the solid point of cci mm, haven't been able to get any.
I have run a lot of different brands through it and all work well. The Mini Mags are flawless. That being said I always use Round Nose rounds. Hollow points can be an issue some times. I am not using the gun for hunting or self defense so no need for me to use the hollow points.
Got a 500 brick of blazers love em, just found 5000 rounds remington thunderbolts for $449 on line that’s $45/500, shit’s getting hart to find, never bought these before ck em out. Stock up for tyranny folks
Blazer is pretty good ammo, Thunderbolt are ok for plinking. It is crazy what ammo in general is costing! I will be doing another 22LR comparison in the very near future. Thank you for your comments.
Here in Canada I bought a case of Thunderbolts (500*20=10000 Rounds) for $540USD at our local gunstore. I think I have enough for a while. No problems cycle through my gsg16, Winchester Wildcat, Ruger 10/22 and Savage A22
I bought a 50 round box (very expensive) and have not tried it yet. I also bought a box of Norma 9mm and have not tried that yet. Hope I have better luck with both of them.
As much as I like thunderbolt, $100 for a brick isnt just too high, It's a friggin insult. Probably some numb nutted manager of the store put that price on it. I hope no one is stupid enough to buy it at that price. Even better I hope something sets off the sprinkler system and ruins it. That said I think thunderbolts gets an unfair rap like hi point firearms. Most of the hate comes from people who never used it, instead repeat what they have heard elsewhere like a petulant child
Would love to see that comparison.
That GSG is a nice one. Classic look without the high price.
Yes, it is!
Thank you 😊
Blazer is made by cci and IMHO is one of the best "budget" 22s you can buy. Thunderbolt you definitely get what you pay for....quantity not quality.
I like the gun. I just bought 5box of blazer. What's the name of the gun?
It's a GSG 1911 Chambered in 22LR. Great gun. Marketed by American Tactical.

Locally here in SoCal the thunderbolts are on sale for $39/500. Blazer for 55/500. I went for the Blazers. I trust CCI ...
In Northern Cal. prices are still all over the board. We are starting to see 9mm come down but 22LR is still Crazy High!
Good video! Thank You!
Glad you liked it!

Anyone shoot these out of a semi auto rifle? Which one is better?
I have shot both out of a semi auto rifle and they cycle well. The CCI Blazer may be a little more consistent in velocity.
@@ATS357 thank you.

Wow! Yes that should last you a while.
Worst I've shot has been Norma tac 22. I might have got a bad box . But I won't buy any more.

Hope you told the manager you'd never shop there again with beyond the pale price of 20 cents per round... A devil owns / runs that shop...
I told him it could rot on the shelf before I pay that!
It is currently $50 now in that same shop.

Both are far from accurate.
