Done the same test with my friends. Those who drink a lot of Guinness (including me) recognized the can immediately, and the Nitro and the pub one were a bit difficult to pinpoint. Mostly we got it right, but they were really close. And we all got it right without the blindfold, just looking at the shtick. If you are not a Guinness fan, they might taste a bit the same to you.
Yeah it was a pint sized can but just didn’t get the dome from it. Maybe for our next taste test we’ll crack another can to top up to try and get a dome. That being said, suppose it wouldn’t be a true reflection of a can pour 🤷♂️
Moral of the story: guinness does a great job of canning beer whether it is draught of nitro surge. Which means the nitro surge is not worth the money unless you are 1 of the best beer sommeliers in the world.... otherwise, you will barely taste a difference, if you can taste a difference at all. And if you can only tell the difference by the lacing, then you care more about how beer looks than how it tastes.
Disagree. I definitely taste the difference between Nitro and the regular can. The regular can is just more... plain? I don't know. But I guessed it in blind tests with my mates 10/10. So I know for sure it's not a self-delusion. But I drink a lot of Guinness and it is my drink of choice. Though it's harder to pinpoint Nitro comparing to a pub pint. And it's also worth mentioning: after the third pint they all taste the same - even Murphys tastes like Guinness :D
It 100% is. I got one on Xmas eve and is sooo much nicer than the normal can. Not too far off pub pints and way creamier than the can without that tinny taste the draught can gives.
Definitely worth the price of gadget and cans ...rich and creamy...I took two lads to a good pub with good pints..but we all did a blind test and out of 3 ..2 of us .we're border line between very good creamy pub pints and nitro surge..by the way to get a perfect nitro surge pint ..cans need to be with out movement for 25hours and chill in fridge plus pour correct
just drank guiness for the firs time (can) and it just had such a stinging taste, reminds me of when i first tried coffee as a kid, but without any of the coffee taste
"I knew the pub pint all along".......................no, no you didn't hahahahha
"i dont drink cans, its rubbish." even though he couldnt tell the difference between a can and a pint for half an hour and then took a wild guess.
Sean losing all credibility not recognising the can 😂
😂 #cancelled
to be fair he at least got the pub pint right at the end 😂
Because he is a draught pub pint connoisseur 👍😂
It just shows how good the cans are nowadays. If they weren’t good it would have been so obvious. Sean is 96 so go easy on him 😂
either that or how much a lot of these experts are full of shit.
Draught Guinness from the can tastes absolutely fine to me
Had me in stitches this !!!!!....
Just drinking then all and getting confused lol
Sean made the fatal error of tasting them all too close together too many times and then just starts drinking guinness blindfolded lol
Omg lads, think my last shit was more of a connoisseur
Sean is full of it, he thought the draught can was the pub pint orginally, knows nothing
Been waiting for this one! Interested to see if the lads can tell the difference 🍻
I think dear old Sean was just their for the craic. God bless him. Well done Charlie for getting all 3 right.
Aight fuck it I'm buying normal cans 😂
This is hilarious.. Sean's was like a bull in a china shop. Maybe make it again but with water between gulps...
Sean...don't feel bad mate, you're still one of the best-dressed men on TH-cam.
You lads are great, don't wait too long for another vid
Did a similar thing with my mates dad with whiskeys once
Forgot which ones we’d poured into which glasses and ended up just getting battered
🤣😂 good craic nevertheless!
Lads lads lads
Sounds about right! 😂😂😂😂😂
Great review. I’ll stick to my Draught can when at home & pub pint when out….. I think 🙄
New upload? Today is a good day
As a can drinker in Germany this makes me happy (of course I drink from my glasses).
I’d just keep sayng I couldn’t tell so I could drink Guinness all day.

Old lad hasn't a clue
They ain't got a bloody clue.. Stick to the cheaper cans from now on. 👍
is nitrosurge worth it for home drinkimg or just save mpney and use use regular
We’d definitely say it’s worth it! Much closer to a pub pint 🍻
@@theguinnesseurs brought it and 16 cans its charging at moment so having a normal can then il try iy cheers for reply love the vids
@@jasonpastymawbyhow was it
Top job lads 🍀👍👌
Thanks! 🙌
To be fair, canned Guinness is very close to draught.
Loved it 😂🙌🏻🍻
Well that guy is clueless 🤣
Lol lads sure the normal can isn't full to the top haha. Sure u don't need ur eyes to tell that's a can lads. Come on lads.

Exactly, 98 percent of people will not be able to tell the difference between the three.

@@KorsarNikyou sir, are the 2% I am talking about. You drink Guinness a lot and know a lot about beer.
Missed a trick by not asking them which they preferred blind.
Who is the old Amish lady on the left?
Charlie fake laughed when Sean last said the can was can which made him switch at tthe very end.. He would have had all right..
Is it possible to use the nitro surge gadget on a tin of Guinness draught? If so what’s it like? 👍
Push pin inside pull ring to release gas slowly, about 15 minutes & avoid surging beer froth. Then use nitrosurge as normal.
@@stevebeech6923is the idea to basically release the pressure slowly enough that the widget doesn't activate properly?
😂
Now, I'm really confused. I'm trying to decide whether it's worth getting the Nitrosurge device and pay extra for the Nitrosurge cans. 🤔

Just goes to show how pretentious all this pour technique rubbish is.
