    I started this beer reviewing channel after I found myself searching out lots of craft beer breweries and enjoying amazing beers, I then decided to start the channel to share these beers with you, however I also realised people like to see beer reviews of every type of beer including beers that are available in supermarkets. so yes whilst I do review a lot of craft breweries I will review any beer. On the odd occasion I will also do food reviews.
    whilst I enjoy reviewing beers I also enjoy watching other beer reviewers and I have made some good friends in the beer review community.
    Here is a list of some other beer reviewers I like to watch (there are many more I watch).
    Dean's beer reviews
    All the Beer No Idea
    I've had worse
    Scott and Wanda's World
    Paul's Beer Reviews

    Thanks for the video, Chris. I watched this video and I tried it out tonight myself, actually with a can of the alcohol free Guinness 0.0 I had sitting in the fridge for days and it worked perfectly with it too. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd heard of the pin trick before and thought maybe it would be a gimmick but yeah, I'd do this in future. I feel that using this pin trick on the widget can definitely gives a bitter pint than the widget does.. worked well for me, a nice creamy, full head.. stout was nice and smooth. It's amazing what you can find out on the internet.

    Nice video, cheers for that. Sometimes the nitrosurge cans are sold out, and when you want a decent Guinness it's good to know I can get any Guinness and use the pin method. Cheaper too. Deals for 10 cans for £10 440ml cans are on sale often. Much better than the £8 for 4 558ml nitrosurge cans.

  • @salimoneus
    @salimoneus 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Not sure I follow this, so the can has a nitro widget inside it already, but you're not allowing it to activate and instead using that external device (Nitrosurge?) to inject nitrogen into the beer? Why not just open it normally and let the widget do it's thing? I must be missing something here...

    • @ChrissBeerReviews
      @ChrissBeerReviews  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The device does not inject nitrogen into the beer, the device actives the nitrogen in the can as it goes through the device, it makes it smoother than opening the draught/nitro can the normal way.

    Does this only work with cans that have to 'balls of nitrogen' because I have tried it with a couple of cans that have the nitro widget attached to the bottom of the can and it always sounds like the nitrogen has been released even when left to 'degas' slowly.

    Is it a really noticeably better flavor, more akin to a pub pint. Really? I find the draft cans pretty good as they are, and I only ever drink Guinness on draught or in draft cans. If so, i guess you could use two pins to make it twice as fast!

      I tested it about 30mins from now… (in germany you just have the 440ml cans) so i did the pin method for about 20-30secs and opened the can (the widget didnt go off) got the 440 in and opened another can to get the complete pint with the nitrosurge… and yes! Its brilliant, its almost like you get one in a pub - dome isnt as soft but thats no problem for me. Taste is a little different from drinking oit of the regualr draft can.

    I was recently gifted a nitrosurge and i can't help but think it's a bit of a gimmick.
    I've not seen anyone say it makes a groundbreaking difference. I don't want to pay extra for special cans, and this pin method appears useful but only if you're hell bent on using the nitrosurge, rather than gagging for a pint.
    Especially given that i can't use it on other cans then i have no use for it.
