Hello, I love your content and have learned so much from your tutorials! Have you thought about doing a tutorial on building a wordpress Page with Divi and connecting it to a Shopify Store? I see many important brands build like that, as most of ecommerce use shopify, and there is no tutorials like this on youtube, it will be the first one. Thanks for considering, and keep up the great work!
Hi Matt. Great tutorial, I'm finding it very useful. Q: How do I pre-populate the shopping cart? Most products on my site will require 2 items, some will require 5, some require only 1. Is there a way for me to pre-populate different quantities for different products, yet still allow the buyer to adjust the quantities if they need more? Thanks.
Hi there! Thanks for the question. Yeah that is possible! You would need another plugin to do that. Something like this: woocommerce.com/nl/products/chained-products/ for example?
Thank you for this wonderful tutorial video. My site crashed completely and I cannot restore the backup copy from the computer. I will start again with you. What do you think? Do I prefer a regular WordPress installation or a multi-site WordPress installation, knowing that I have 2 e-commerce sites? I have shared hosting
Hi سامح محمود! I would not advice you to use a multi-site wordpress installation if we are talking about 2 different e-commerce sites. Just create two different installations! Better to keep it all separate 😃
Hi Wilton! Thank you for your question and being a subscriber for the last year! I really appreciate that. Make the Apple design again using Divi and WooCommerce? That would be possible indeed! I will add it to my todo list, would be fun 😀
Hey Deat Matt thankyou for this best amazing video for website creation! I need your help, kindly plz let me know after creat product page, when i click on “ View cart “ it will take me to home page instead of Cart. Kindly please tell me how can i proceed to cart page Thanks
Hi there! Thanks for the question! That's pretty odd... have you added in products already? If yes, try to add a product to your cart (on the front-end) and see if then the cart works...
Hi Khan Sahab! You are very welcome! Thank you for writing a comment. Really appreciate that! I'm glad I could help you out with your website. Hi Matt, I have watched your excellent video several times. I may have missed it, but I haven't seen anywhere that there is an option to set the visitor notification about cookies. All eCommerce websites pop up a notification about cookies and an option for the visitor to decide if they want to allow them, which ones they want to allow, or refuse all. Is it possible with Divi Theme?
Hi there! Thanks for the excellent question. It’s a topic on its own, that’s why I have created a dedicated tutorial about it! You can find it here: th-cam.com/video/xklLGwjvdJs/w-d-xo.html Good luck and have a great day!
Hi there! Thanks for the question. I don’t have a tutorial about this, but as you can see in the end phase when we are making it responsive, you see that we don’t have to change any text sizes because of REM 😀
@@RichArtLove Hello, so I’m a Software Developer and the reason we use REM instead of PX is that PX is a fixed size in pixels, and REM instead will decrease or increase the font size based on the display screen size automatically. Like Desktop, Tablets or Mobile.
This video is so helpful, thank you! But… I do have a problem… when I am in the visible builder, the site looks great! But when I leave the visual builder the site turns blank. All the colors, fonts and icons disappear. I only see the words and some pictures 😅 only the product pages and the contact page is showing correctly. Do you what went wrong here?
hey Dieuwertje! Dankjewel voor je vraag. Dat klinkt alsof er iets misgaat met de caching Je kunt bij je hosting partij even de cache legen of van je caching plugin (als je die draait). Laat me weten of dat het oplost!

Hi WP doctor. I added a "woo commerce add to cart button" module to my page. It works but the page refreshes and the customer is taken back to the top of the page. How do I solve it doctor? (i am selling food so customers will likely select multiple items)
Hi there, thanks for the question! In this case you could load it in via AJAX, that would prevent from re-loading the entire page. You can find such a plugin here: nl.wordpress.org/plugins/woo-ajax-add-to-cart/ I have not tried this before, so let me know if that does the job!
Hi there! Thank you for your question about the How to make a e-commerce website (2024) in Divi with WooCommerce. I understand it can be a little confusing. All those different units actually has a different purpose. The choice of unit depends on the specific needs of the element/page/section. Rem is useful for creating scalable layouts, em is useful for creating responsive layouts, and px is useful for fixed-size elements. Have a great day and take care! Greetings
Hi, I am selling gelato online. Can we create a 'add to cart' button below a blurb? (This way customers don't have to go back and forth pages to order multiple items) or is there a plugin for that? Thank you :D
Hi there! Thank you for your question. Yeah that is possible, you could just make a page with all products and “add to cart buttons”. You just have to add them all in manually and assign them to a specific product. It’s a bit of work (especially when you have a LOT of products) and maintaining it can be a bit of a hassle…
