I was looking at one of your videos from 3 years ago and decided to see if you had anything recent and YOU DO. Glad you see you didn't cut your locs because I've ran across soooo many channels who have done that. Personal reasons for them which I get, but it's nice to see someone who is still about that loc life. I don't have anything up showcasing mine but I'm 2 years in and LOVE this lifestyle.
Beautiful locs how long have you had them. I have had mine for 4 years and I haven't experienced any cons. Having locs have been all pros for me. Continue to enjoy your loc journey.
Beautiful locs and I can totally relate to this video I’m about 10 years locs on April 25th this was the best decision I have ever made for myself don’t regret it at all loved every bit of this loc journey ❤️🥰👍🏾👏🏾🤗
@@SoFineee Your welcome 🤗 and I said the same things and I notice since they have gotten so long everything seems to be getting attached to them including lint as well that’s only part I don’t like about having locs that are super long now.
Yeah lint is really the devil, just try to keep them up and out of the way as much as possible. I also started brushing mine as well. It helps to get the lint that’s on the surface of my locs before they get deeper
@@SoFineee Thank you for the advice as far as brushing which type of brush would you recommend soft or hard brush? I’m thinking about trying that out once I buy a brush.
@MelloneeKecia I have a soft brush, you don’t want to use a hard brush cuz then it could snag on ur strands and could make them weak and or cause breakage. Just a light brushing would help to get the little fuzzies out
That's the plan. The only thing that's always held me back was being worried that I might want to change my hair. Or else I would've done it since we were in undergrad. I did go for a consultation today, so hopefully, I'll start my journey by the end of the year
After so many years of loose natural hair it hit me that my life was all about keeping it from loc’ing. Perhaps just letting it loc was the answer? Almost four years loc’d and my hair has never been healthier or happier!
My loose natural hair was tail bone length so for me it’s the opposite. My loose hair felt like it grew faster then my locs. At two years my loose hair would’ve been at bra strap length
@coolkidruby3429 nooooooo comparing, it’s gunna grow don’t worry. It may be slow now, but it’s gunna hit a peak eventually where you’ll see a big difference. Take A LOTTT of pictures/videos that’s where you’ll see the growth
