so helpful thank u!!! i'm pretty sure i started my locs going clockwise and have always retwisted them in the same direction, but sometimes i zone out n just twist it intuitively, so thanks to ur video i think i'll make sure to be intentional about sticking to the same right direction:-) xxx

Me w/ my low porosity hair 🧍🏾‍♀️ I try to avoid using heat to dry my hair so I’ll try to time it out if I have anywhere to go. But the most I’ll do is maybe 5 minutes at the end IF NEEDED

I tried product from my loctician and it was a no but my loctician is awesome and there was no problem bringing in my own supply

I like that you mentioned things that affects us internally ...people want a quick fix ...something they will still forget to be consistent with ...lifestyle changes are surprisingly a arm and a leg for many and yet that what hinders hair growth ...I remember when I was in my Era with my physical and spiritual thought my emotional was picking up from these two but my hair was at its MOST HEALTHIEST but emotionally I declined so badly that if dragged those two pillars down and I am working on my Spiritual this December then slowly reintroducing my body back into the physical routine mid December so that by January I am flowing in a schedule then I'll add my emotional with professional help of cause for that one cause now I wanna deal with everything for once and for all

See I’ve done both palm rolling and interlocking and idk which one to stay with.. palm rolling ALWAYS unravel bcuz sweat a lot which defeats the purpose of it, interlocking it last longer and looks neat but it thins out my roots so I’m stuck 😅

Keeping your scalp clean and washing your hair at least bi-weekly is optimal for healthy. No one wants to smell dirty locs. Also, braid any loose hairs around locs to prevent breakage and thicken roots.

I keep hearing too many two strands twists will make your locs have a dent. Do you think always doing two strands damage your locs? I love a good braid/twist out

Great info... Yes, it does matter whatever way you first retwist your hair you continue to twist in that same direction. If, not it will cause your hair to thin over time 💚 How often inbetween the 8 weeks do you shampoo? I've tried to go a full 2 or 3 months...l can't. Really you have to listen to your hair and body it tells you what's needed 💚
