Inverting them adds a couple inches to the height making them right around 11" high. Have to check - there must be a conversion to add a load sensor to the brake to make the CSR like the CSR Elites!
You can do 2 things; First, increase the tension on the spring by threading in the nut. You'll see it increasing the tension. Second, you can change the mounting point on the back. Move the bolt up one hole. This decreases the pedal travel and increases tension.
Just haven't got to it yet......That's a great kit for sure. After I've inverted the pedals (and before I do the comparison, I think I'll try (un)inverting the throttle so it hinges from the bottom and see how that works.
i'm already interessted in the conclusion :D i would like to invert my pedals too except the gas padel for, you know the authenticity, great video and i guess i'm a bit closer to doing it or not after the next video :D
Thanks. Not sure about progressive feel but I did stiffen the spring by simply extending it. Looked around for a progressive spring that would fit but couldn't find one the proper size and tension.
So when's the comparison vid? Or did you do it already and I missed it in the list? I'm ordering a CSR wheel, CSR Elite pedals, and the CSR shifters in that package deal they have going on. I'll probably end up getting the inversion kit down the road and just inverting clutch and brake, leaving the throttle pedal- that would make it like my car- a Subaru Impreza.
Nice video. While for some it might be self explanatory, however...seeing it done is a great visual aid for some folks. :) Thanks for taking the time to do it.
I have a question; how do I make the CSR Elite Gas pedal more heavy;kind of like the clutch ?? When i step on it does feal very vague and it doesn't really have any resistance to it. The only thing i have done to the pedal is inverting, using your video as i guideline btw :P thxs in advance
Not yet, but I can say I really like them inverted but plan t try the throttle (un)inverted as that just seems to fit my foot wrong..... Even if the inversion kit didn't work or feel one bit better it sure looks cool ;-)
What are the new height (dimensions) after inverting the pedals? Doubt they would fit properly with my setup. I have the CS pedals (just ordered weeks before the v2 announcement) =(
Just wanted to say a quick thanks for the video - just got my CSR Elite's and inversion kit and this made the install/conversion a snap. I left my throttle pedal floor mounted but so far really like having the brake/clutch inverted. The load cell and potentiometer really make a big difference don't they?
I honestly don't know. Everything I checked on the internet goes the other way - using the G25 pedals with a Fanatec wheel. I suggest you keep sticking some money away until you can buy the CSR-CSR Elite-CSR shifter value pack.
great video guys, does anyone know if there is a brake mod (like the g27 nixim one) in order to make the brake feel more stiff and progressive?? cheers
+Tim Phillips Sorry. I guess other tests got in the way. They worked great. I would leave the throttle pedal hinged at the bottom and hang the other two.
The measurements needed would be the same as the pedals themselves. I don't think you're going to be able to make a quality inversion plate for less than the $50.00 they cost. And do it right ;-)
o ok. well unlike yourself i still can't afford this wheel and these pedals =( even tho i would love it. it would make drifting on forza 4 so much more fun

its taking me a while to adjust to the Elite Peddles but they are worth every cent. Thanks for your advise on them.

The pedals (the CSR Elite pedals, anyway) can be used by themselves, if you hook them into a USB port.

The Elites are absolutely wonderful pedals! We'll soon see if the extra money for the inversion kit is well spent.

Is the next video out yet? I have an older Playseat Evolution, and am debating ordering the conversion kit to invert my pedals.
Best reviews Period.
These pedals with the Derek Speare pedal plates inverted are awesome. Cant complain :)
I'm unaware that there are any way to adjust pedal angle on any pedals without an adjustable pedal plate....
My pleasure! Once you get acquainted to 'load cell' pedals you'll find it even harder to use your old ones ;-)

wait what? do you not use the fanatec clubsport pedals with a fanatec wheel?
Not yet, but I can say I really like them inverted but plan t try the throttle (un)inverted as that just seems to fit my foot wrong..... Even if the inversion kit didn't work or feel one bit better it sure looks cool ;-)
Not in the inversion itself. You'd have to adjust the angle just like the regular pedals using the pedal plate.
Most likely (I didn't check the video ;-) the GT Omega. We have a review of it - a great stand.

do you know what angle these are?
what wheel stand is that behind you?
And whats the width of the pedals?

another great job , good on ya :-)
although , I'd rather invert the pedals in my car to pivot off the floor
After I try these agains the standards, I bet that's the way I'll end up. We shall see...
Can you tell me the dimensions of the complete brackets so i can make one, thanks
im getting this ones to used as a stand alone, are they worth it? and compared to the Clubsports?
So if you get the inversion kit do you get enough material to invert all 3 pedals? Or do you get just 1 each 50 dollars?
Ok thankyou, how tall are they from the bend point
Thanks
Great video dude.
great video I will wait for your impressions vid before I order one of these but I think its a great idea
Still don't understand the inversion of the accelerator pedal...
Yes I use Fanatec wheels and pedals....
Does this work on the gas pedal of the regular CSR pedals?
I do too!
Really good explaining video. Keep it up!
great video guys, does anyone know if there is a brake mod (like the g27 nixim one) in order to make the brake feel more stiff and progressive?? cheers
Cool!
The inversion kit is for all three pedals.....
Hopefully I'll let you know - soon ;-)
Is there no follow-up video for the review of them inverted vs standard?
+Tim Phillips Sorry. I guess other tests got in the way. They worked great. I would leave the throttle pedal hinged at the bottom and hang the other two.
Thanks!
the throttle doesn't need to be inverted

Does this kit work with the v2 petals
Thanks.
Merely a tongue-in-cheek comment....
Ha! Great point!
Nice i didn't even know they existed
How to wire to Leo Bodnar 12 bit controller board?
It should.
Sorry, just these....I think the only option is to have a plate made for your rig - but I've been known to be wrong ;-)
do the Fanatec CSR elite work well with logitech g27?
+Urban Takedown (Nickson) I just used USB directly to the PC. iRacing gets confused when I use my Oculus, but fine otherwise.
ok thanks mate
you get a kit for all 3 for 50
wow i wish i could afford a fanatec wheel but i just don't have that kind of money
It just never seems to stop does it? Still a lot cheaper than the real thing ;-)
all 3
ill not be going back to my old peddles that is for sure. anyway they have been sold onto greener pastures.
then your reply to comment above really didn't make sense. lol great vid tho
o ok. well unlike yourself i still can't afford this wheel and these pedals =( even tho i would love it. it would make drifting on forza 4 so much more fun
Oi
