Camping In Withernsea

I took the twins on their first camping trip. With a brand spanking new tent and new gear we travelled to Withernsea in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

I enjoyed that. I must say that the bacon, beans and sausages looked good. I don't know much about Withernsea but I believe that due to erosion by the sea if you don't get a move on walking to the beach it comes to you which is why there are all the rocks and no doubt some of that metal work on the sea front, to try and combat the erosion, and is probably why that old toilet block is no more. Also I heard somewhere that where that castle like structure is, where you had your ice cream used to stand a pier and I believe there was talk if building a new one, but that's just something I heard.

Hi, I'm an owner on Withernsea Sands, I really hope you enjoyed your stay, I notice one thing you didn't ask about was the part where you finally found your Ice Cream, that Castle you were stood at waa once the entrance to the Old Pier that was demolished over time in the late 1800s by boats colliding with it

My family own a caravan there I've been going every year since I was about 1 I am now 15 I love the place to bits but it gets a bit boring after a while

Yay for safe camping fun during the crazy pandemic times. Nice you were able to do some outdoor activities with good weather. I know your pain of trying to repack a tent, it's a pain in the backside. Canada is slowly getting back to a more normal way of life, some restrictions are starting to loosen up now
