Love your haircut, how would you cut the bangs with receding hairline?

    • @coach-kimmy

I would do a half cut. It takes a skilled pro but can be done beautifully!

I have always cut my own hair and it looked nice till I got Hashimoto's Thyroid and lost a lot of hair! Thank you so much for showing me how to make my bangs look thinker! I am so happy I found you now my bangs look so much better and my hair doesn't look so thin and it also covers my forehead witch has gotten very dry and has horrible red spots from the disease as well! You are truly a God send! Thanks again!

Kimmy I have done your Jacklyn Smith cut and did it about 3 months ago but didn't write anything then! I did it and it looked great but I didn't do my bangs I did them the way I always did! Then when I found your bang cut I was so happy! I had to tell you how much you have done for me! I always wanted side swept bangs and never knew how to do them! Kimmy you are the best! I have watched other hairdressers doing bangs and cuts but you truly care and make it so easy because you tell everyone how to do it step bye step and the uplifting way you talk makes it feel like you are having a wonderful friend tell you how to do it! Thank you again just watched your hair coloring post and am going to do the way you said today! I feel I have enough energy to do it today and I know it will make me feel better! Like they say it is better to look good then to feel good! 🤣 Just kidding but it truly does make me feel so much better mentally! I may have a disease that effects my everyday living but I can choose my path and with your help I can make my hair look pretty again! As you know a woman's hair is her crown and glory! I have just been washing it and throwing it in a clip everyday for about a month now! So it is time to get some of myself back! And with your help I am so inspired to do so I know my hubby will thank you! 😂 I just have to thank you for being the light in a dark world! God Bless

Love your videos Coach Kimmy!💖 You are always so encouraging. I now have sideswept bangs that look way better than before, thanks to you!🤗💇‍♀️ I have a question: Would you make the bangs shorter where a small cowlick is, (over my right eye) or on the opposite side? 🤔I’ve tried it both ways different times and still not sure. Thank you for all that you do!🥰

Thank you for your kind words and for trusting me with your hair! It sounds like you're already rocking your new sideswept bangs beautifully. When it comes to deciding where to make the bangs shorter to address the cowlick, I would recommend trying it on the opposite side of the cowlick first. This technique can help to balance out the natural growth pattern and minimize the appearance of the cowlick. Remember, experimenting with different styles is all part of the fun of hair styling, so feel free to play around and see what works best for you. Keep up the fabulous work with your hair 😊💇‍♀️

Thank you Coach Kimmy! 🥰 I really appreciate your answer as I just wasn’t sure, and what you said makes sense! The first time I tried cutting my bangs shorter opposite of the cowlick, and it looked amazing; the second time I did it on the same side as the cowlick, (because my slight side-part has been there for YEARS) and it wasn’t as amazing.😁 So now I know what to do.
I love how you always say to experiment! I have layer-cut my own hair for many years, with regular bangs, but I will get used to having my side-part on the other side, because I love your side-swept bang look so much. 😃🥳 Thank you again for all you share with us…you are SO beautiful inside and out, and you have the most beautiful hair ever! 💖💇‍♀️🎉
