I fell in love with it immediately and bought it a month ago. Exactly the same model and color. It's amazing and looks great. Got it at 30% below MSRP which made it even better experience ;)
That is one hell of a thick watch! I love Omega’s PO’s and I even don’t mind the extra thickness when I know it’s because it has a great movement in it, but this might be too much outside of serious diving
One of my favourite watches - I have this and the black dial with orange / black bezel. Tremendous timepiece - a beast and a marvel. Thank you for the review and video, love it.
I have owned one like this; complete beast I would go with the Titanuim model with Blue face......See Victor Vescovo....who explored the Mariana trench....excellent timepiece!!! Worn deepsea and The Omega 600.....I would go with this Omega all day over it
Absolute BEAST! I have the 1st generation of this watch from 2010 and it was c2mm thinner - no display case back and different movement co axial caliber 3313 - I have a 17 inch wrist and it fits well. This watch is a technological tour de force but not sure if my 17 inches could wear it! I could use it as a weapon I suppose! Great review as always
Awesome watch. This is like a Rolex Deepsea mixed into a Daytona and mixed into a Milgauss. It’s enormous but also perfect. Wouldn’t need any other watch.
Great review of a stellar piece. One thing you did not mention or perhaps I missed it, is that the chronograph pushers are fully capable of being deployed under water with no risk of flooding the case. This is why the pushers do not require a screwdown shoulder. This is a great feature for divers if you are using the watch, as I do, as a backup to your computer. You can use the bezel for your bottom time, and the pushers to time your decompression stops. Great feature and quite rare in mechanical chronographs.
@N A You should see what I’ve dove with over the years... AP Diver, Rolex DeepSea, Rolex SD43, Hulk, Pam 305, Omega 8500, Omega DeepBlack ceramic GMT, etc.... yeah I dive with my watches and never had a problem. I like using them for what they are designed for.
I am not an omega fan but I have to say I do like that seamaster. That thing is 3mm thicker than my James Cameron deep sea! Amazing! I do love that case. Nice and hefty! Great review as always Mr Mosso!
I got PO chrono in 2014....its my daily work watch..after 5-6yrs the crown broke when i tried pulling it out to wind it and cost me almost 1k to replace it
I have this watch in titanium… but something happened during covid and it stopped working… local authorized service couldn’t open it (long story) … so anyway I was in Switzerland last weekend and finally brought to omega in Switzerland … they will charge me 960CHF for a full service … lady said watch will be like new with 2 year warranty… the watch is from 2014., so I’m quite happy to pay that and have it back running again. I also purchased the rubber strap but in orange which I think it will be cool in summer. And more comfortable to wear. I’m surprised in a positive way this model is still so popular after all these years… I’ve always liked it.. but it is a big piece of watch so not really for everyone
I don't see so many negative comments about the diameter, thickness and lug to lug how I can see for example with the Tudor BB GMT, which is more than 3mm thinner, 4mm. less in diameter and 3 mm. less lug to lug. Curious.
I bought a 2 year old 45.5mm titanium with blue ceramic, it leaked when I was repairing a burst bathroom pipe!!! Not 600 metred down, but on the first floor... Very frustrating!
I really really really want to buy one, it’s a great watch BUT….. I have a Submariner and even though I’ve completely lost patience with Rolex sales policy I just can’t bring myself to cut the Rolex cord. If I’m going to have a Planet ocean it will need to be in addition to the Sub, not instead of it.
Feel like Omega's PO product manager has a BBW fetish - big beautiful watches because there does not seem to be a limit to how thick these watches can be.
Uh, a diver chronograph. For those of us who like either under water racing or, alternatively, speed diving, I guess. Very stylish. Who thinks that Rolex would ever dare to offer such a Frankenstein watch? I saw the Rolex staff crowded together and starring at this thing. One of them finally broke the silence: No, they never will be a match for us. Sighs ‚of relief‘ and laughter.
ALMOST 20MM Thick loll wtf- This piece is stupid- Could have been 200M WR and 14mm thick like the Chronomat 42, lol can hang this as a wall clock when not on your wrist
2 weeks ago I took ownership of a omega planet ocean 600mm. 45.5 mm dial. Very happy.
“Weighs a lot of money” 😂That is awesome quote right there Tim!
Thought so too

30 points? Where? I almost bought this exact one, but chickened out
Just did the same but black and orange. I also recieved 30% off.
@@supertrickyrickyandtheslip1473 how are you finding these under list price?
This watch is a freakin beast. Ridiculous value for what you are getting from Omega. Nothing Rolex has can even come close to matching this.
Mine is now 18 days old.. it lost ONLY 14 seconds ..I believe this is the best running watch I have ever owned. It’s truly a magnificent piece.
Shouldn’t lose any seconds

I just bought mine with sedna gold blue dial and blue strap. I have very big wrists and it does not come close to being too big.

This is a serious badass Pro diver watch. Well not many ppls can pull this out due to it size but still a handsome timepiece.

Is this the first time Tim recommends a watch for a minimum 17cm wrist? Mammoth watch!
Does it hold the price ?? I can get one almost as new one 2022 for 6000 euro ..i got 8 inch wrist it will be perfect size i think
Nice review.
Should I buy?

Dam so much hate. I think this watch looks great. And for a bigger guy no issue at all.
This watch ate another watch and that watch had just had a burrito for lunch.
Salit prix oméga ? ,?
Love the watch
no matter what watch i look up i can tell immediatly from the thumbnail it's a watchbox piece

Im glad Omega makes watches in sizes for real men. lol.
I have this watch and I'm certainly not a real man.
