Goran Oieras A lot of CA is declaring all public land as a “preserve” and banning all “activities” except for basically hiking on designated trails.... some counties have banned use of any RC “craft” or “automobile” of any kind
@@JUMBOs-RC Yeah, I live in NorCal too. Most of the reserves now disallow RC cars (including electric ones). A ranger told me some guy ran a nitro RC car in the park once, and caused a fire in the forest, and the rules have since changed to forbid ALL RC cars from running in the park.
I'm trying to decide what solid axle MT to get I just don't know if I can buy a Tamiya just Soo much plastic. I know there is a ton of aftermarket parts but I don't want to have to buy a truck just to replace every part right away. The Smt10 are out of production (IDKY) so I'm not sure what one to get. Tips?
I love my Clod Buster, it is strong. I haven’t broken anything mechanical on mine yet... I did add hot racing aluminum spools to lock the differentials and a full duratrax bearing kit during the original assembly. Later I upgraded to aluminum oil filled shocks and waterproof electronics the rest is stock. I will put dial Crawford axle steering mounts and aluminum 4 link and steering links on it eventually
After such a wash, you do not need to clear your clod, at least not from dust 😄 Greetings from Germany 😎 P.S. You also lost the left headlight above 😁 that's why I dismounted the whole thing ..
Right now it has a Hobbywing ESC, dual Tamiya sport tuned motors, aluminum oil-filled shocks, Traxxas waterproof servo & receiver box, Duratrax ball bearings, and Hot Racing spools front and rear
I used to run 27 turn stock... then I went with sport tuned because I use it for snow, mud, hill climbs, trails, water crossings and rocks and I like a lot of wheel speed to churn through loose terrain
Awesome driving. Very similar build to mine with the hw. Any special steering setup? Looks more powerful than mine. Btw, Would never have thought it would float so well! :)
First attempts to amphibious, the tires slowly filled with water and would triple the weight of the truck, then I took my time to seal the wheels up really well and now it performs great on the water
Nice truck always have wanted to build one
Thanks… they’re very fun to build, mod, and drive
That is insane that it floats! Thank you so much for sharing!
Yes I got it for Christmas!
NICE... have fun!
Sweet video awesome place to play digging the classic look of your truck👍👍💣
Thank you
This is awesome! Never seen a Clod perform this good with the stock suspension!
Thanks... removing 4 shocks really helps the stock clod
Love these old Clods.😊
Does it have tire foam inserts or nah?
No foams in this video
I just got a Black Edition! Out of all the racing RC's I have had over the years, Im most excited for this one. :)
I’d like one of those too... Clod is my favorite brush motor electric RC
WOW Where do you live that area is amazing and so peaceful sounding.I want to live there
It’s nice in some ways... but northern CA has unfortunately changed for the worse in too many ways
@@JUMBOs-RC What happend?

@@JUMBOs-RC Really?
That's the saddest thing I ever heard.

Beautiful creek!
It’s one of my favorite spots to RC
That thing move n crawl like a tarantula 😁👍
Crawls pretty good for a monster truck
Are thoughs stock motors Johnboy?
Yes they are stock in this video... I’ve since upgraded to dual Tamiya Sport-Tuned motors running on 2S Lipo
@@JUMBOs-RC But the sport tuned are timed!

That's the cleanest run ever.lol
Just needed some WD-40 on the bearings after

Yeah I’ve taken a lot of rolls down hills and mountains... I’m surprised more haven’t broken off

rc guy sure... my steering now is different. I have dual axle mounted vertical servos with CPE aluminum steering links
@@JUMBOs-RC OH, ok.
Didn't want to bother you
rc guy stock steering is especially bad when using spools like in this video
I put two 45 turn motors in mine...it will climb anything.
I believe that totally!
45t motors combined with the 30:1 gear ratio give the truck so much torque!
