It's quite sad to see a lot of people in the comments saying that the show is gonna be really bad and that it's gonna ruin the franchise. This is NOT A REMAKE, but a whole different show entirely, just that they are using high school musical. I think the show is good an unique. And yes this is not the best performance but like it's one of their first performances, plus they were singing _and_ dancing which is quite hard to do

Right. I don’t know how Broadway dancers sing and dance at the same time so agressively too, 8 times a week. I could dream of having that stamina but especially with bad asthma, would never achieve it.

Fun fact: the audio of the camera/device this was recorded on kinda ruined the singers voices making them sound not as good. For everyone saying they can’t sing it’s probably the audio because they were too close to stage, all of the other videos I’ve seen sound way better than this one.

But I’m a dancer and I can tell you that one thing is learning a choreography, another one is doing correctly AND ANOTHER ONE is doing a coreography correctly and dancing. Is hard AS FUCK. The choreos in HSM are great because they’re lipsyncing while filming. They change it to easiest things, something more modern to connect with the new generations and something they could actually do in a live performance with real singing. And they’re also dying so of course they will change it in pro of the cast. AND THEY’RE KIDS.
