it just samples... clips in ableton... he's launching clips and scenes and playing with effects... he took the clips from pieces of his work... or these are pieces he had that he built songs out of... you can't say this came from this song etc... its not like that... this was a moment... thats how it should be viewed... as its own moment... not connected or diluted by something else

It's sad the way Allen & Heath discontinued the Xone 3D and even the Xone 4D now. I love performing on the Xone:4D and wish they would just come out with an updated Xone:5D instead of discontinuing the entire Xone D range. deadmau5 does some pretty amazing stuff with the 3D though!

any idea what he is using as the beat repeat thats linked to the little buttons under the individual faders to the left and right of the main mixer? Is it just ableton's beat repeat? if so how is it midi mapped?
