The bat speed they create is insane, but the compression on these balls is so far beyond standard softballs that the carry is a bit misleading. These guys are monsters for sure but the ball really helps make it look more impressive in major league stadiums.

The intended meaning was the balls are so juiced that the distances they get are a bit misleading and normal balls wouldn't look as dramatic in major league stadiums. You seem to really have taken offense to this, i.e. like perhaps you're projecting some insecurity here and that's where the anger's coming from. I agree with all of you except thomistica... but its not the rogers centre... its Skydome. Rogers bought it a couple years ago and made the mistake of changing the name... everyone knows it as skydome.
The only time I cracked 400 was with a 650 launch like these. The reason they bring three bats for 15 swings is because those 650's destroy composite bats
For all the "geniuses" claiming they used juiced gear, helmer's wall is roughly 475 ft at hall of fame stadium and helmer has hit it to that wall in games. He can hit tanks, that's final

@@Tevatron044 they are not posers but I have played against a few of these guys at the PIF tournament and with ASA bats with super grey dots they were not hitting the ball 475 nor would they lol. Never played against Helmer though.
@@Lanse1984 helmer was special and a ryan Harvey can probably do it, but remember, they're usssa guys. ASA has really died out in terms of popularity around here

They do hit bombs but the bats they use are not league bats and they hit stadium balls lol. I have hit those and its like golfballs
