450-foot SOFTBALL home runs at Busch Stadium (Long Haul Bombers)

- If you ever get a chance to see the Long Haul Bombers, don't miss out! Here in St. Louis, they put on a POWER DISPLAY during a pre-game exhibition like nothing I'd ever seen, launching softballs so deep into the stands that it nearly made me weep.
Other than that, I snagged a few baseballs as well, had a great seat near the dugout during the game, got a closeup look at Mark McGwire, caught up with a good friend, and hung out with a famous actor.

That was Hall of Fame weekend when Mark McGwire got inducted into the Cardinals Hall of Fame. I've heard of Johnny Washington at 5:45 he played for the South Georgia Peanuts back in 2007 for Wally Backman.

My dad plays against a lot of those long haul bombers, I love going and watching his tournaments and seeing long balls.
My dad just told me those are special " homerun derby" balls which go about 50 feet farther then a normal ball goes. It's supposed to be a secret but he said I could tell you.

I’ve been going to the university of iowa women’s softball games they let you keep balls as well, the ball I got was a Rawlings then it had the B1G logo on the bottom it said official ball ncaa championship on the sweet spot then the iowa Hawkeye logo on the side
