First fpv for me so Is it possible to solder on an xt30 connector on the tinygo and use only a 2s battery rather having to load 2 into it. Is there higher mah battery to lengthen flight or is it a balance act between weight and times. Great video 🤜🤛

Thanks for this review and all the beginner videos on your channel. I pulled the trigger and went with the tinygo as my first FPV. I decided to go with this RTF because of the radio. I wanted a radio that was going to prepare me for what a more full featured one might feel like in the future if i enjoy the hobby, but i also wanted one with a protocol that i could find on a few other indoor/outdoor drones. Thanks for helping me make an informed decision!
So my first experience with the tinygo (with any drone at all in fact)... First flight LOS, took off and drone came backwards straight at me, disarmed just in time. Got a few hovers of about 5 secs before having to disarm again. after a few more of these, had drone hit me in the head and then had to cut it out of my hair. Had my first experience of removing motors and removing props so i could get rid of the hair bound up in the motors. Second set of batteries had some good hovers in front of me. Used the OSD to recalibrate the accelerometer. Flight much more stable after this. Either it was a tiny bit off out of the factory, or it was a placebo. 2 more sets of batteries and many controlled hovers, i put the goggles on and tried to hover it, but struggled to keep it steady. That'll do for a first day. Tomorrow i will try to fly around the room a bit, but considering how delicate you have to be with the throttle i don't like my chances of being able to yaw with control for a few days.

Whole new world of brands/size/styles/features/terminology. I've learned A LOT in the last week spending time looking at reviews and specs. I think this will be my FIRST drone purchase. It has everything I was looking for in a RTF kit that won't break the bank and it should last me quite some time. Having the ability to move to something bigger/open prop like Tinyhawk Freestyle is nice to keep all the same remote/googles. I love that this can be a dual purpose indoor/outdoor.
My son loves drones, rc cars(he has a few). I got him a cheap drone and it didn't last very long. Any fathers here that has a good suggestion for a 8 year old ? After he gets to learn to handle it, this looks awesome. He can have so much fun with this.

I wish I had never wasted my time with the betafpv. My meteor 75 kit came with a broken frame, a faulty flight controller, and two weeks of waiting with no contact before they shipped out. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life, so this gepRC kit is a no-brainer. I ordered the 4K version on December 10th, and it should be here on Monday. Very excited.

Loved your video on the TinyGo. Just ordered one. One suggestion you made was to upgrade the video transmitter antenna. You mentioned one, but wasn't exactly sure which you were referring to? I have been wanting to get into stuff like this but I honestly don't know where to start. The last time I was in the RC hobby the quads were not a thing, helis were very rare and changing channels on a transmitter/receiver consisted of physically replacing the crystal oscillators. I think the goggles would be hard for me to wear. My eyesight is bad. I would probably have more fun if I could have the video signal show on a computer monitor. I understand there are other types of video receivers other than the goggles. What do I need to know in terms of compatibility and could you recommend a video receiver that's compatible that can be connected to HDMI or displayport on a monitor so that my old eyes can look at a 24 inch screen?
I like the geprc tinygo, IMO it flies better and build quality is way better. I went through 2 tinyhawks before I figured out a common problem is it will need a new fc in a few months. But geprc I have never had a problem with. Hope this helps:)

Congrats on building such a nice channel :) I'm in RC hobby for over 10 years now (mostly cars and a little bit of airplanes) and i feel it's time to start FPV. But I need advice from PRO. I'm flying my old airplane from time to time using Spektrum DX6i DSM2 and i wonder if it's sufficient platform for drones... or its about time to change transmitter? Very nice review, I have watched many of your vids and it is nice to see them so well thought out. This video is what got me to purchase this kit and am very happy with it. Still flying in angl mode mostly, have done acro a few times, but still need work on making very small adjustments when things start going sideways. Anyway, would you be able to point me to one of the VTX antennas you mention that could be used with this? I've looked, but don't seem to find anything that looks like it would work here.
I have never flown a real FPV drone but I have about 10 hours of Acro mode simulation using a PS5 controller on The DCl sim. Will this drone help me transition from sim to real life and if not could you recommend a good bundle that I can use indoors and attach the transmitter to my computer so I can use a sim. Also great job on all your videos. So relaxed and right to the point. Keep them coming.

Hi Justin, wondering if you can shed some light for me. After many google searches, I don't know if i can use my DJI RE goggles with other drones besides the DJI specific drones and the Mini 2 Chromecast hack I am currently using. I really liked this Geprc Tinygo RTF 4K for Canadian indoor flying, but after seeing your other video I purchased and currently waiting for the Jumper T-Lite remote, and lately considering the GEPRC CineLog 25 HD Pro because of your other video. Just need to ensure the 3 devices can bind together. New to FPV and want to ensure something I won't want to upgrade in 2 outings. Thanks in advance and keep up with the great videos.
My tiny hawk just showed up yesterday. Going to be able to practice indoors now. Tried flying the Eachine at the dog training center, kept hitting things. This shouldn't care as much when I do that. Love the 4k video feature of this Geprc whoop.
I’m curious to see what they do to improve this without raising the price too much. I can see it being elrs since that’s where everything is heading for these size drones. I could also see it having a 4th beginner mode with a optical sensor on the bottom since the elrs would lower the weight. Or using one of the switches to turn the sensor off. Googles might have a detachable screen like the tinyhawk 3. But honestly, they could get away with just switching it to elrs and this would still be pretty much the best still as a rtf kit with that 4K video. Scalpers are nuts with these selling them at $400 and highest I’ve seen is around $600. I think that just proves how amazing this is for beginners and how in demand they are
I'm really greatful for this video. In fact this helped me decide whether to buy a cheap drone or anything. What I really liked the most is the video quality and whoop type of drone. One thing I'm curious about, have you tried connecting the Goggle on a TV or monitor set? Would it be easier to look at the monitor, instead of the Goggle?
Great review. I whished I had waited instead of buying the BetaFPV RTF. The pots on my LiteRadio 2 gimbals have dead spots in them and I am waiting for warrantee replacements. FYI - The goggles in the BetaFPV are the same as the ones in the Geprc Tinygo RTF.
Awful kit. Too light to fly Outdoors, too fast to fly indoors. Mine came with a cracked frame, a faulty flight controller, and they waited 2 weeks to ship before sending me any information after charging my credit card. They refuse to answer support emails, I had to track down an employee on Facebook to get any help. I'm done with betafpv. I ordered this kit, and it should be here on Monday. Super excited.

Ive flown some quads before, just didn’t get a chance to learn flying them with fpv goggle, always been flying with line of sight since that’s how I’m used to flying mostly Heli’s. I really want to learn flying FPV and this bundle seem really good. You think this tiny whoop will be able to bind with RadioMaster TX16S? It’s what I use to fly my M1. Novice 3 may give u longer flight time but the tinygo is an all around better package. It’s gonna be easier learning on a better machine not one just cause it flies longer God luck
I love this but the goggles and glasses since I’m freaking blind as a bat or giving me problems. I was wondering do they Half goggles this would be really cool and I think it would make it easier to learn to. To be able to see both plains at the same time

Hey man, you recommend this drone to me in the comments on the E110 "spy" helicopter. since you've filmed this, they seem to have upgraded the GR8 controller to take a upgrade antenna, it has a standard little "whip" on it at the moment, same as what the goggles have by the look of it. would you recommend replacing the antenna on the goggles, controller and drone with some RHCP spironet's? or do the googles have diversity so i could use a patch and spironet for better LR video? and would i then still run spironet's on the drone and controller? i really appreciate your responses and the guidance for a new(b) member of the fpv community.

My meteor65 arrived with the frame bended a little bit and touch the propeller 😣 so I had to spend some time triying to get the duct round again

Sorry or be such a noob, but just another question. Can the drone fly as just 1s? I know you mentioned the difference when discussing the weight but I haven’t heard anyone else mention if it’s possible or not. Thanks again
Loved your video on the TinyGo. Just ordered one. One suggestion you made was to upgrade the video transmitter antenna. You mentioned one, but wasn't exactly sure which you were referring to? Also a suggestion for the goggle antennas for the TinyGo, maybe from the ones you listed above? . Thanks again, Your videos are very helpful!!! Flying DJI Mavic now, but want to slide into the FPV world as well.

Hi, great video and review. I have been flying DJI drones for a few years and seriously thinking of getting into FPV flying. Don’t want to buy anything expensive crash it and then be annoyed. I know FPV is hard and requires a lot of training. With that in mind would you say this is the best one to get started with? Thank you

So far, this is the best because of the 4k video. I have some few questions though. Is the controller of this one better than the one on eachine novicr II or III package? I have been wanting to get into stuff like this but I honestly don't know where to start. The last time I was in the RC hobby the quads were not a thing, helis were very rare and changing channels on a transmitter/receiver consisted of physically replacing the crystal oscillators.
I think the goggles would be hard for me to wear. My eyesight is bad. I would probably have more fun if I could have the video signal show on a computer monitor. I understand there are other types of video receivers other than the goggles. What do I need to know in terms of compatibility and could you recommend a video receiver that's compatible that can be connected to HDMI or displayport on a monitor so that my old eyes can look at a 24 inch screen?
Can the controller and/or the goggles be used on a PC simulator?

I like the geprc tinygo, IMO it flies better and build quality is way better. I went through 2 tinyhawks before I figured out a common problem is it will need a new fc in a few months. But geprc I have never had a problem with. Hope this helps:)

Congrats on building such a nice channel :) I'm in RC hobby for over 10 years now (mostly cars and a little bit of airplanes) and i feel it's time to start FPV. But I need advice from PRO. I'm flying my old airplane from time to time using Spektrum DX6i DSM2 and i wonder if it's sufficient platform for drones... or its about time to change transmitter? Very nice review, I have watched many of your vids and it is nice to see them so well thought out. This video is what got me to purchase this kit and am very happy with it. Still flying in angl mode mostly, have done acro a few times, but still need work on making very small adjustments when things start going sideways. Anyway, would you be able to point me to one of the VTX antennas you mention that could be used with this? I've looked, but don't seem to find anything that looks like it would work here.

I have never flown a real FPV drone but I have about 10 hours of Acro mode simulation using a PS5 controller on The DCl sim. Will this drone help me transition from sim to real life and if not could you recommend a good bundle that I can use indoors and attach the transmitter to my computer so I can use a sim. Also great job on all your videos. So relaxed and right to the point. Keep them coming.
That will help some. The Tinygo is the way to go. Lots of guys love that setup.

Hi Justin, wondering if you can shed some light for me. After many google searches, I don't know if i can use my DJI RE goggles with other drones besides the DJI specific drones and the Mini 2 Chromecast hack I am currently using. I really liked this Geprc Tinygo RTF 4K for Canadian indoor flying, but after seeing your other video I purchased and currently waiting for the Jumper T-Lite remote, and lately considering the GEPRC CineLog 25 HD Pro because of your other video. Just need to ensure the 3 devices can bind together. New to FPV and want to ensure something I won't want to upgrade in 2 outings. Thanks in advance and keep up with the great videos.

Tried flying the Eachine at the dog training center, kept hitting things. This shouldn't care as much when I do that.

I’m curious to see what they do to improve this without raising the price too much. I can see it being elrs since that’s where everything is heading for these size drones. I could also see it having a 4th beginner mode with a optical sensor on the bottom since the elrs would lower the weight. Or using one of the switches to turn the sensor off. Googles might have a detachable screen like the tinyhawk 3. But honestly, they could get away with just switching it to elrs and this would still be pretty much the best still as a rtf kit with that 4K video. Scalpers are nuts with these selling them at $400 and highest I’ve seen is around $600. I think that just proves how amazing this is for beginners and how in demand they are
I think 3in is my new favorite. A 3in can be light and nimble or a cinomatic gopro machine. Ita nuts

I'm really greatful for this video. In fact this helped me decide whether to buy a cheap drone or anything. What I really liked the most is the video quality and whoop type of drone. One thing I'm curious about, have you tried connecting the Goggle on a TV or monitor set? Would it be easier to look at the monitor, instead of the Goggle?
Great review. I whished I had waited instead of buying the BetaFPV RTF. The pots on my LiteRadio 2 gimbals have dead spots in them and I am waiting for warrantee replacements. FYI - The goggles in the BetaFPV are the same as the ones in the Geprc Tinygo RTF.
Awful kit. Too light to fly Outdoors, too fast to fly indoors. Mine came with a cracked frame, a faulty flight controller, and they waited 2 weeks to ship before sending me any information after charging my credit card. They refuse to answer support emails, I had to track down an employee on Facebook to get any help. I'm done with betafpv. I ordered this kit, and it should be here on Monday. Super excited.

Very nice review my friend. Ive flown some quads before, just didn’t get a chance to learn flying them with fpv goggle, always been flying with line of sight since that’s how I’m used to flying mostly Heli’s. I really want to learn flying FPV and this bundle seem really good. You think this tiny whoop will be able to bind with RadioMaster TX16S? It’s what I use to fly my M1. This Bundle really got my attention. Thank you so much for an awesome review.
I’m torn between this drone and the novice 3. I think the extra flight time on the novice 3 will help me learn faster. Which should I choose?
Novice 3 may give u longer flight time but the tinygo is an all around better package. It’s gonna be easier learning on a better machine not one just cause it flies longer God luck

I love this but the goggles and glasses since I’m freaking blind as a bat or giving me problems. I was wondering do they Half goggles this would be really cool and I think it would make it easier to learn to. To be able to see both plains at the same time

@@dronecamps will that radio also work for the quad? It looks like the radio supports S-FHSS and the quad has an FHSS receiver. I'm a n00b so I don't know if they are compatible.

Most of the new fpv bnf drones have 3v spot for soldering on a Spektrum Rx.

Hey man, you recommend this drone to me in the comments on the E110 "spy" helicopter.
since you've filmed this, they seem to have upgraded the GR8 controller to take a upgrade antenna, it has a standard little "whip" on it at the moment, same as what the goggles have by the look of it.
would you recommend replacing the antenna on the goggles, controller and drone with some RHCP spironet's?
or do the googles have diversity so i could use a patch and spironet for better LR video? and would i then still run spironet's on the drone and controller?
i really appreciate your responses and the guidance for a new(b) member of the fpv community.
