Comparatively alien technology might make ICE's seem archaic but as I got into cars a little more I doubt they'd scoff at it. Dudes are tuning engines and controlling fire essentially to make insane amounts of power that are hard to ignore. Those close tolerances and precise engineering would almost definitely be appreciated by anything that has an understanding of powerplants and converting materials into energy.

FYI: the concord was about 40 years old when it retired, and that was an entire year after it's infamous crash happened. keep in mind only 16 were built. so yeah it was a big deal, but that's NOT what killed the concord. the concord picked up a bolt that fell out of an engine of a DC10 that took off moments before the concord was even cleared for take off. it pierced the fuel tank and the heat from the engine ignited the wing. tragically they died, but what ended the concord was, 9/11 so less demand in the industry, aircraft operating costs, aircraft maintenance costs, and most importantly the aircrafts age. most aircraft are only meant to pressurize every x amount of times and once they get to those numbers the airplane becomes too unsafe to fly without major fuselage repairs and inspections. so please don't spread misinformation saying that important political figures were on board in the one accident or that the airplanes killed people. that's kinda fucked yo, especially because the concord is STILL considered to be one of the most technologically advanced airliners ever built.
